2.0 out of 5 stars Temporary product, 3 Aug 2014
Great design and looks good but zip broke after two hikes . I cant see the zip coping with files if used as a school bag . I would only use for light days out eg round a city with a few light things in it

5.0 out of 5 stars A little gem, 17 May 2014
Bought a copy at Sutton Bank Visitor's Centre.A fantastic informative read .I know the area well and still found new facts on each page .The author clearly loves the area and I am enthused each time I pick it up .Great unexpected buy that I will carry on hot summer days and read on cold winter nights

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb, 29 Sep 2013
The best Nesbo yet . Perfect .If you are a Harry Hole fan you know what to expect .They just get better . The Kindle version is fine as there is only one map and that isnt really needed to follow the story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Chilling and thorough, 27 Aug 2013
Finished this after 2 days .Kindle edition .No photos of group but so easy to google nowadays so no problem there .The author answers every question systematicaly without becoming tedious .It reads like a novel .Out of fairness I must point out that one reviewer is mistaken .The author does not give his own crazy theory . That is an easy mistake to make if you just flick to the end . It is indeed a silly theory but it is a first hand account by a factory worker in the area .The book remai s neutral .Personally after 2 sleepless nights I hope it was avalanche panic perhaps set off by hearing military testing .Why they ran a full mile is un
certain but thats easy to say from a house in the summer .

5.0 out of 5 stars does what it says, 9 Jun 2013
This review is from: Polycel Plug It Polyfilla 26Grm
This product actually works .I bought it in b&q but saw it on amazon . After kneading it looks like blue tac and smells like arildite glue .It hardens over an hour and the screw goes in nicely and holds firm.Ours are standard curtains so I cant comment about the heavy curtains causing other people problems .What i can say is it got me out of the pigs ear I had made of the job .I would use it again .

1.0 out of 5 stars Why oh why did I ignore the 1 star reviews !?, 2 Jun 2013
If a child had written a story about a beautiful silvered haired lady and a spikey haired assassin I would think "Oh bless " I do not think that when I have just given good money to a multi-millionaire .
Ok so lets go to Florence with a DK guide and Wikipedia on our i phone and regurgitate every tourist brochure ini the form of a pointless story .We meet an absolute genius female doctor who used to beat grand chess masters at 4 years of age .What does she do ?She follows Robert Langdon around every tourist destination inFlorence listening to his every word .This is the first review I have written in anger. Times are hard ,please read the poor reviews before spending hard earned cash .

2.0 out of 5 stars Buzz sound at certain frequencies, 4 May 2013
See above. It buzzes at certain voice frequencies even at low volume. That is especially bad for me as I like radio 4 . Bought it today and will ask PC world to replace it tomorrow.I have had the same radio before without this problem so fingers crossed.I have written this review mainly to back up other reviews which mention the buzzing problem

Blood Count
Blood Count
by Robert Goddard
Edition: Paperback
Price: £1.99

3.0 out of 5 stars It's ok, 29 Mar 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Blood Count (Paperback)
I felt no sympathy for the main character. There was no sense of place,no description of the cities or scenery which makes a thriller journey through Europe so attractive . The style was 'then he did this, then he said that, then he went there'
Robert Goddard's earlier efforts are much more worth reading.

ABC of Sleep Medicine (ABC Series)
ABC of Sleep Medicine (ABC Series)
by Paul Reading
Edition: Paperback
Price: £22.95

5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely useful and an easy read, 15 Mar 2013
This is a user friendly guide which varies from in depth medical explanations of the sleep cycle to fascinating facts (e.g. how caffeine keeps us awake and the fact that selegiline was developed as a dog food additive ) . This balance ensures that the text is always interesting .
Details of sleep studies and a summary of sleep restriction guidelines were particularly useful . A description of the multi-factorial nature of primary chronic insomnia fitted in nicely with practical measures for sleep hygiene.
As the population ages the chapters on co-morbid insomnia and sleep problems in neurodegenerative disease will help anyone involved in helping sleep related problems.
A detailed description of medications used in sleep medicine and their effect on the sleep-wake cycle is also given .
The blue-gray overview boxes at the beginning of each chapter will be a useful teaching aid.
It is unusual to be able to read a text book from cover to cover and actually enjoy doing so. This book has a fresh feel about it which unlocks the mystery of sleep related problems.
