For anybody interested in the history of ITV in the Midlands, I would rcommend this DVD.
It is filled with interviews from many recognisable faces, and hs a very interesting commentary. This is a great DVD for thsoe interested in local media,or who just want to wallow in nostalgia from a time when ATV/Central was making great TV.
First the good point, there is a whole load of interview clips and snippets of performances mainly from the BBC and MTV that you will not have seen for ages.
But the bad point is the supposed inclusion of Sooner or Later from the Oscars, there is no such footage at all on this DVD!
Wow, what an amazing book. Although hard to read at times, Mikey's journey is a real inspiration to us all. Amazingly he appears not to bear any bitterness towards those who hurt him.
The only slight downside is that the second half of his life seems a bit rushed, when that seems to be just as amazing as the first half of his life.
In the interview he did for Attitude magazine last year, it was hinted that there would be a second volume covering the second half of Mikey's like. I for one can't wait!
