This is a straightforward set collecting game, somewhat enlivened by the bidding mechanism used when multiple players wish to aquire the same item. It lasts an hour or a bit less, and is readily playable for people with little or no experience of board games.
It has absolutely nothing to do with Ancient Egypt at all - the design theme is just chrome which is irrelevant to the gameplay. You could rebrand it to be about spaceships, hobbits, popping down the supermarket or whatever.
The physical components are quite nice, functional and attractive - but they can't conceal how slight the actual game is.
If you see this in a second hand shop for a tenner and your family or friends enjoy a light game to break the ice of an evening, then go for it. If you want to invest fifty pounds on a fulfilling and educational boardgame experience, then look elsewhere - there are so many better games than this out there!
