ok, i succumbed. i couldnt take the constant reading of reviews. been paid, 400 burning a hole in the pocket. my old ipod is four year old and looking decidedly behind the time (black and white for a start).
if your undecided - just do it - buy one - you wont regret it.
yes, the 16Gb is too small - but it is a flash drive which has major advantages over a hard drive (which i wont go into - google it) - wait six months and im sure they'll be a 32Gb version
this thing is thin, its bloody gorgeous and apple have reinvented the mp3 player again. everything about it is lush.
i want to like the other mp3 players out there but i cant, im sorry creative etc., apple have raised the bar again.
to those out there saying "but its only 16Gb", bah to them, do you honestly listen to every track you have in your library - no you dont. i have 10000+ tracks, i only listen to my top rated and any new albums. use your smart playlists - thats what there for - be selective. rip your dvd's to your library (if you own the dvds that is...) add and subtract the films as you require them.
if you want every single track and film - get the ipod classic and stop moaning about the size of the touch - but don't come bitching when the hard drive freezes and dies on you.
once you open the packaging and hold the touch in your hand - you wont regret it.
