Easy to fit, good speed, quality memory - as you'd expect from Corsair. I particularly like the design which makes it easy to grip as I have some arthritis in my hands.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, Cool and Quiet Case, 25 Oct 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This case is so easy to use I still can hardly believe it. The quality is pretty good, plenty of cable ties and screws are enclosed and fitting the components is a dream thanks to both sides opening and clear storage space for spare cables means the airflow is uncluttered. You can fit more extra fans than you would ever need and the case looks smart and clean cut.

The case opens with four thumb screws and components are held in place with sturdy clip systems although you can screw components in place if you want extra security. The layout is as stated, comprehensive with 2 USB 3 ports and mike/phones sockets easily accessible at the front. More USB 3 and USB 2 ports at the back give you plenty of room to plug in a variety of peripherals and the PSU seating is sensibly placed at the bottom of the system so it isn't top heavy like older cases.

If you want a good, cool (in both senses of the word) case to put together a system with ease, go for it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does what it says on the tin, 25 Oct 2013

What can you say? I purchased this because of the Samsung name - I have several other items from them and they've always been good quality and reliable. This seems to maintain that reputation. I installed it and it worked - very quiet and reasonable speed. Unlikely to find a better product for this price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Trip down Memory Lane, 25 Oct 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I was bought this album as a gift many years ago on vinyl LP and it contains some of my favourite interpretations of old black and white soundtracks. Well worth listening to - particularly as the restored version has considerably less crackles than my original!

If you are over 50 and remember some of these old films, you are likely to recognise and be stirred by memories listening to this selection.

4.0 out of 5 stars Powerful Memories, 25 Oct 2013

This is the original soundtrack from the old black and white version of the story with Dirk Bogarde in the lead role. Beautifully played and even though it is now quite old, the rendition is evocative and powerful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Neat, Compact and Lightweight, 29 July 2013

A good little case which fits the ipod touch 5th Gen well. The case is made of soft black leather with a lightly patterned texture on the outside and light tan, smooth leather (like pigskin) on the inside. It is well stitched and the magnetic clasp on mine works well. There are holes for the strap and for headphones (small jack) but unfortunately no hole for the charger, so you have to leave the case open to recharge or connect to your computer. There is a cut away on the side to access the volume controls and the top edge of the ipod is left exposed to access the power control. I don't personally use the 'pen' supplied, but it does work if you like that sort of thing. Inexpensive and works well.

5.0 out of 5 stars As good as the original, 29 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This cable was purchased because my kitten decided to cut her teeth on my original ipad cable whilst I was at the front door. It is almost exactly the same length as the original cable, slightly thicker and more robust, and worked perfectly straight away. The cost, however, was less than buying from Apple. What more could you want?

5.0 out of 5 stars Jordan and Sanderson - blend well before serving., 29 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book is based on the late Robert Jordan's text and completed by Brandon Sanderson using his notes. When I heard that the series was being finished by another author, I was very sceptical. Robert Jordan's style is sophisticated, maintaining credibility with ease whilst introducing continually more fantastical ideas. I was doubtful that another author could seamlessly continue the series, even using Jordan's prolific source notes. However, I need not have worried. It's actually quite hard to decide which sections of the book you think are 'Jordan' and which are 'Sanderson'. A good integration of the text which has been treated with respect and completed very much with Jordan's wishes and commitment to his fans in mind.

If you enjoy fantasy novels, don't start with this one. Start with the first book in the series - The Eye of the World - and read through. The series is much better read in the correct order. If you are really serious about understanding the story, go one better and start with the shorter prequel, New Spring, which precedes the main series by 20 years and gives a good background story to help you root yourself in the novels.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Wheel Of Time Continues, 29 July 2013

The last book in the series that Robert Jordan completed before his untimely death, this continues the story of a group of ordinary young people from the Two Rivers being thrust into totally unordinary circumstances.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great nostalgia, shame about the crackles!, 29 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Came across "Fings" many years ago when I was asked to sing a selection of the music for a concert. Loved the humour of it, being a child of time, but could never find a recording of it, so I was delighted to find this.
The recording quality is very poor - about par for the course at the time as it would have been done with an open mike on a reel to reel (or just possibly cassette) tape and it wouldn't have been great to start with by modern standards. The enthusiasm of audience and performers and the atmosphere they create outweighs this, however, and anyone who knows this show will certainly appreciate hearing it in the original version.
...and if you don't know the show, give it a whirl. My particular favourite is 'The Ceiling's Coming Down' which typifies the apathetic attitude engendered by life for those who had little in their favour in the '60s. Dry, dark humour at its best.
