Caselogic Small Hard Drive Case, EVA Outer, Blue
Caselogic Small Hard Drive Case, EVA Outer, Blue

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok, but ...., 23 May 2011
The product arrived very quickly from the supplier A-Z - impressive. However, the case itself seemed almost a 'second' - the quality I expected was not evident. It does though seem to do the job, quite happily accomodating my Medion 640gb hard drive and cable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun And Loud, 2 July 2009
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
I've played this game on and off for 18 months now on a Windows XP PC. Love it and keep coming back to it.
There are a good range of weapons and scenarios.

However, I've recently rebuilt my PC and encountered a 'loading issue' with the game. It will not load if you have the very latest, or newer than supplied graphics driver on the DVD - there is an error message that appears when attempting to load the game.
If it will not load, make a note of the message as it refers to the part of the driver software that needs to be uninstalled off your graphics card driver software, load the game, then install once again the latest driver bundle (this refers to the nVidia graphics drivers).

4.0 out of 5 stars Incorrect Photo, 19 Mar. 2009
First off, the product picture is incorrect - 'Glossy' rather than the 'Satin' stated.
The satin paper works well with my Epson R200 photo printer, giving results at A4 far better than I had expected.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor - Stick to Original, 31 Oct. 2008
= Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Far Cry 2 (PC) (Video Game)
This game seems to be a cross between Tomb Raider (or possibly Spyro the Dragon) and Boiling Point. There is a game within the game of collecting diamonds from cases stashed away throughout the gameplay area. When you find and open one, you get the diamond and a nice tinkle jingle reminiscent of Spyro.
The graphics aren't too bad but the game itself gets quite boring after a while.
I like the fact that any picked up / second hand weaponry may jam in use, even though this will often get your character killed.
Ok if you're really bored, but the original Far Cry is a better game as far as I am concerned.

3.0 out of 5 stars Grows On You, 9 April 2008
This review is from: Riot! (Audio CD)
I bought this after hearing / seeing a track on TV, and at this price I thought I'd give it a spin.

On the first play only a couple of tracks stood out (Hallelujah and Let The Flames Begin), but after a few plays other tracks grew on me.

The band shows promise, and hopefully their music will mature along with them.

3.0 out of 5 stars Handy but ...., 1 Jan. 2008
I've had one of these for around 12 months and thought it a handy item, both physical size and memory capacity.

However, it has recently fallen apart (whether the adhesive that held it together has dried out, or whether it only as a 12 month lifetime, who can tell) and is now held together by some insulation tape to stop it 'exploding' at inopportune moments.

Next time I consider a similar product, I'll examine more closely the build quality.

Easy Media Creator 8 Suite
Easy Media Creator 8 Suite

2.0 out of 5 stars Stick With 7, 1 Jan. 2008
Like a fool I tried this as an upgrade from version 7 - boy what a mistake.

This version is hard to navigate, whereas version 7 was far more 'intuitive' as to where to go to get what you wanted done.

Needless to say I reverted back to version 7 to stave off extreme frustration.

3.0 out of 5 stars Value ......... or is it ?, 8 Sept. 2007
Quite good value for software from Microsoft, and a must 'add on' for any student off to university, especially as it can legitimately be loaded onto three laptops or pc's at any one time - a bonus for families with more than one child or student whom may each have their own pc or laptop.

Others, not students, tempted to buy it for their basic office needs such as Word and Excel and Powerpoint, may perhaps first like to check and see if their employer is signed up to Microsofts 'Home User Program'. This allows employees to register with Microsoft and get a more fully loaded Office package for the price of the disk plus postage and packing, currently about £18.

2.0 out of 5 stars Ok for the airport delays, 8 Sept. 2007

Not the best of his written works. It's an ok read if you're delayed at an airport, but not a book I'd read again and again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice, 8 Sept. 2007
I've found this optical mouse to be very good value. It fits nicely in the hand of an adult, and isn't too clunky for children.

I've used it both for general work on the pc, and also for gaming, for which it is quite responsive.

I'd also recommend the purchase of a decent mousemat to compliment it too, perhaps one of the Belkin WaveRest Gel Mouse Pads or something similar.
