1.0 out of 5 stars Worst filter to clean, 2 Nov 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I received this earlier this week and by Saturday, the filter looks ridiculous to use. The surface is smeared and nothing can clean it off, it is forever stained or something. Total waste of money and I am hoping to find another filter that is easier to clean than this. Whats the point of putting something so difficult to clean in front of your lens when being dirty affects the image quality. Nightmare product!

4.0 out of 5 stars Rubbish Packaging but cushioning is heavenly., 16 Mar 2013
Sound Quality 7/10
The sound quality coming from these Bose headphones are average, don't have much to complain about (if you don't compare with more expensive headphones). For once, the sound coming from it does not make you feel fatigue over time and it is excellent for watching movies at home. Its not the best sounding headphones but the next section is where the compromise comes in.

Comfort 10/10
Having tried many different headphones, there is always something wrong with the comfort design. They are either too heavy or pressing too hard against your head or ears making it very painful to wear for long. Bose AE2 on the other hand, probably spent all their research money into designing it to fit around your ears and the soft cushions make it amazing. Wearing it for a few hours is not a problem and after awhile you forget that you're wearing it. Having so many other earphones and headphones, I finally compromised and went for comfort.

Build Quality 9/10
They don't look like the most sturdiest headphones you can buy, the wire is a little thin to my liking. But having tugged at it for many times and being replaceable makes pretty decent.

Packaging 2/10
Seriously, what was Bose thinking using Blister packaging for their headphones. It makes it seem like a 5 year old kid's toy packaging. One of the crappiest experience trying to open the blister packaging. With the wires running on the bottom, having to cut the packaging was like trying to avoid important parts of the headphones and not damage it before you actually listen to the headphones. Nightmare packaging seriously. Disappointing for people who paid for this expecting something more in this sense I guess. At least you only need to do this only once.

Value 7/10
Not the best valued headphones in the market, but it really depends on your "needs". If you want something comfortable and is willing to compromise the sound quality then I suppose this is a pretty good deal. If you want good sound quality and if your ear fits other headphones perfectly then this might not be of super value.
