5.0 out of 5 stars Doctor Who Series 3 Volume 1. The start of a great series., 10 Feb. 2007
Doctor Who has been completely successful since its revival back in March 2005. Series 3 begins with 'The Runaway Bride'. This is the christmas episode of 2006, The Doctor (David Tennant) has just lost Rose Tyler but has found a bride-to-be called Donna (Catherine Tate). Donna finds herself in the Tardis after being taken away from her wedding on Christmas Eve. as The Doctor and Donna race to get to the church, The Robot Santas are back yet again to help fulfill the plans of the Empress of Racnoss (Sarah Parish). The Doctor must ncover the truth to why Donna is needed, so he can then stop an ancient plan to destroy the world. can the Doctor save the world from its biggest threat?

Ive heard this might be the only episode of this volume. but i am guessing this will have the first few episodes of Series 3 such as 'Smith and Jones' and maybe 'The Shakespeare Code'. Series 3 looks to be amazing and i hope that the series will be as exciting as the Christmas special. Freema Agyeman will be Martha Jones and will make a great addition to the cast. cant wait for series 3 dvds to be released

Doctor Who = Absolutely Fantastic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Torchwood is probably the best british spin-off ever, and the second part of it is coming!!!, 2 Jan. 2007
Torchwood is brilliant, i watched every episode eagerly awaiting the next, i bought the dvd Series 1 Part 1 and i enjoyed that section over and over again. Series 1 Part 2 has the episodes "Countrycide" "Greeks Bearing Gifts" "They Keep Killing Suzie" and "Random Shoes". These episodes involve a murder hunt in the country, some love for Toshiko, the return of a former Torchwood member and a 'Love and Monsters-esque" episode following the ghost of recently deceased Eugene.

These episodes are brilliant so buying it will be a really smart thing to do. and cannot wait wait for part 3

5.0 out of 5 stars Family Guy comeback with a big bang and a bigger fanclub, 29 Oct. 2006
This is the dvd which brought back one of the worlds most popular families, The Griffins, as they make their comeback onto tv. this film is brilliant and it is possibly the best way to bring back the greatest show of the moment. spanning a new 4th series, a 5th series and a planned 6th series, the show is, to be, back on top form and have a lot more adventures from Stewie, Peter, Lois, Meg, Chris, Brian and the rest as the show which has offended and entertained millions will continue to do so for at least a few more years.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great show for people who have done wrong and made it right, 20 Sept. 2006
My Name Is Earl seemed like a dull show which will probably be axed before the end of the series. but after watching episode 1, i couldnt stop laughing, i had not laughed this hard since i watched Shaun of the Dead. the show is just a great laugh and i hope there will be a season 2 as great as this. Brilliant Comedy, everyone should watch it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Series 1 finished with me wanting more! and this is Fantastic! Doctor Who is here to stay!!!!!!, 24 July 2006
This DVD is the last of Series 1 of the revived series of Doctor Who, i think that this is the best DVD so far out of Doctor Who. Russell T Davies has made Doctor Who better than ever. The main Achievement of this series was not just the re-introduction of The Doctor but also of his greatest rival, THE DALEKS!!!.

The first episode "Boom town" is like the next part to the Slitheen story, when the Tardis Crew find out that Margaret the Slitheen is still alive, they realise that they need to stop her from destroying the planet.

The greatest highlight of Series 1 is the last two episodes "Bad Wolf"/"The Parting of the Ways" The Doctor, Rose and Captain Jack get separated and are forced to play the deadly games on the Game Station (Satellite 5) The secret force controling the station is The Doctor's worst nightmare, THE DALEKS!!! who were long presumed dead and wiped out of existence. The Doctor must make the ultimate sacrifice to save the universe and to save Rose.

This DVD is great and i would recommend it to old and new fans of Doctor Who.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Ood, The Beast, and The Abzorbaloff, this is a great DVD which will frighten you and make you laugh!!! The Doctor is great!!, 21 Jun. 2006
this DVD is Fantastic because it features the brilliant two-part story "The Impossible Planet" and "The Satan Pit" is great because it is a Doctor Who story which is not just really scary but is also set on a planet nowhere near the earth and challenges The Doctor's idea on religion when he comes face to face with a beast which is referred to as Satan. The Ood are great and are really scary aliens. the other episode "Love & Monsters" is great because it is an episode following what happens to and ordinary man called Elton Pope who becomes obsessed with finding The Doctor. and then he is faced with an alien for himself to deal with, The Abzorbaloff (Played by the brilliant Peter Kay), this episode is like none other of Doctor Who because this hardly features The Doctor and Rose but focuses more on Jackie Tyler.

a great DVD and a must have for anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Doctor Who Series 2 was absolutely Fantastic!!! David Tennant is great, Daleks vs Cybermen is brilliant!!!!!!, 21 Jun. 2006
This series of Doctor Who has been funny, scary and exciting. This DVD is the best one in the whole series and this is why...

"Fear Her" was an episode written because of Stephen Fry not getting round to writing his planned episode. but this is still really entertaining, The Doctor and Rose travel to London in 2012 to watch the olympics, but as they are walking through a normal street, they realise that all is not well and there is something sinister going on, can the Doctor and Rose save the child from the alien controlling her?

the highlight of the whole series is the two parter "Army of Ghosts"/"Doomsday". the episode starts with The Doctor and Rose going back to the present to see her mother Jackie. When they realsie there are ghosts walking around and no one is scared, the doctor then thinks that something is wrong, the investigation then takes them to Torchwood. While there The Doctor realises that the Cybermen are coming from the parallel world through to our world. and Rose finds out that The Daleks are hidden in the sphere. When the two collide, Daleks and Cybermen are on full scale war, but The Doctor finds a way to defeat both armies, but could this also be the end for Rose too?

This DVD is absolutely Fantastic!!! i would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of the new and old series. i cant wait to see the whole series in full once again. Bring on Doctor Who Christmas Special and Series 3.
