5.0 out of 5 stars Bought Specially to protect a foot wound, 11 Jun 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
A quality lightweight boot at a good price. Take fairly thick bandaging and a thick sock. I would recommend these as an additional piece of equipment for the foot clinic.

Speedo Adult Futura BioFuse Goggle Swimming Goggles - Clear/Purple
Speedo Adult Futura BioFuse Goggle Swimming Goggles - Clear/Purple

3.0 out of 5 stars Another average goggle, 4 Feb 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Having been swimming 50 years plus, the perfect affordable swimming goggle still seems elusive. From new, this model does leak in one eye (the right as it happens) to a small extent no matter how much I adjust them but all other characteristics seem OK.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not as exciting as their earlier stuff but very competant, 15 Dec 2009
This review is from: Keep Calm and Carry On (Audio CD)
Some good lyrics and profesionally done. They have not lost the plot yet. (not that its always inevitable)

5.0 out of 5 stars Robin Hood of Nottingham, 7 Feb 2004
Swashbuckling 1938 adventure with that romance that we used to get on wet Sunday afternoons. This is in TECHNICOLOUR - hard to beleive it came out that early. This required the noisy camera the size of a washing machine to be kept in a huge lead lined soundproofed box weighing a few hundred weight. The film was shot with three films simultaneously. That said thay must have had some heavy engineering at Warner Brothers to take the moving shots across the crowds. The re-enhanced colour is spectacular and all of Lady Marion's cosis are obviously real silk. Rush out and get it (I mean log-on) before Yorkshiremen steal the whole lot. There are endless references to Nottingham to make us feel that Robin Hood is still our very own! (still the question of why the rebuilt castle is so un-castle like).
This is a spiffing good piece of old cinema - a must for granny too.

5.0 out of 5 stars A feeling of travelling somewhere while relaxed and funny, 12 Mar 2002
This review is from: European Punks Lp (Vinyl)
Rarely do talents of mixed genre music creation get together so successfully. The name European punks would perhaps imply some noisy frenzy from the 70's. How wrong would this be! Some very cleaver tantric listening for those music lovers happy to break free from the standard music 4 minute kick for every track invented with the 78 record.
