This Book Isn't Particularly Great, 4 Jan 2014
Mostly because a lot of it is advertisement for the author's website (philosophicalinvestigations, it's actually pretty good, but should not be one of the main focuses for the book) and copies of the syllabus along with past exam questions. There is also some evaluation as to the contents of the syllabus, and a list of key words and theorists, which is important to revision and could be helpful, but certainly isn't worth over £5. Another useful thing in the book is the possible future exam questions, which could be great for revision, so there is some use there.
However, I am finding it really difficult to find any sort of decent revision guide or even textbook for this specification, and this is a nice addition to the other textbooks in that it is exam focused (which is useful if you care not only about knowing stuff, but also doing well in an exam.
It is a normal thickness A5 book and seems to be focused on having text widely spaced in a large font and stating the obvious just to fill the book, to make it seem worth however much it is being sold for.
I hope this was a helpful evaluation of the book, as there was nothing here before but a quote from the book, and so I had little idea of what I was buying.
