4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!, 11 Jun. 2007
I am a huge fan of food processors and this Kenwood did nothing to diminish my enjoyment of them. It makes life so much easier, doing chopping, slicing, whipping, juicing, etc, within seconds. It's quite compact too so it doesn't take up too much counter space.

It's only downfall is a basic design flaw. When you remove the processor from the base to take out the food inside, first of all it requires pressure to get it out - something not easy esp since its all so delicate. Secondly when you remove the bowl, the plastic beam in the center which rotates the blade stays in - and usually falls out (which means you can break it easily if you drop it one too many times). If you can get over htese two annoyances then it's a fabulous processor.

Burnt Toast
Burnt Toast
by Teri Hatcher
Edition: Hardcover

4.0 out of 5 stars Great but overrated, 4 April 2007
This review is from: Burnt Toast (Hardcover)
I had read such rave reviews of this book, but admit to being slightly disappointed when I finally got it. It's interesting and provides a lot of insight into life, love, the world, and I could relate to a lot of stuff. It also points out how even celebrities can suffer from such low self esteem. However, it just seems like a book on how a woman overcame her extremely low esteem, and a lot of the times it seems like Teri Hatcher is justifying, and in a way apologising for feeling a certain way. But overall it is a good book, easy to read. Recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very enjoyable and effective, 26 Feb. 2007
This review is from: Shape Up For The Sun [DVD] (DVD)
I used the Libby Roberts bikini workout over two summers and was surprised by the results. For a person who wasn't very physically active, save for walking, the exercises were easy and simple to follow (although you'lle be slightly behind the first few times). And they were so effective, I could feel more toned immediately and soon I found it hard to sit still for periods of time - I constantly kept some exercise going whether in class or on the bed. It's simply excellent and tons of fun. Just put some music in the background and you're set to go!
