5.0 out of 5 stars Magnificent!!!, 6 Feb 2014
This review is from: Black Butler, Vol. 10 (Paperback)
Absolutely brilliant, best so far and enjoying the hell out of this series. The anime definitely needs to be rebooted so they can adapt this manga series when it concludes in the far future.

This review is from: From Hell (Paperback)
This is an absolutely amazing graphic novel, it is one of the many reasons why Alan Moore is THE greatest comic book writer of all time. It be long but it so worth it due it's story, characters and it's interpretation of not only Jack The Ripper, but also the city of Victorian London. A MUST BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars JONAH HEX IS BAD-ASS AND SO IS THIS BOOK!!!, 27 Aug 2013
All-star Western is without a doubt one of the best titles in the New 52 currently and this book is shows us why. It shows Jonah Hex (being bad-ass as always) along with Amadeus Arkham solving Jack The Ripper like cases in 19th century Gotham which has a dark a gritty feel to this book. As the story goes on along with awesome, bloody, gruesome action, we find out there is more than just these murder cases as other missions that Hex must go along ties in with everything else of the story and ties in with Volume 2 of All-star Western and it's awesome! Normally I wouldn't like the art work but in this case I love it as it suits the environment and atmosphere of the western age and the nitty gritty feel that 19th century Gotham gives in this book, even though I'm sure that Jonah Hex has had better art work from other books, but I love it cos it suits the book, the story, atmosphere and Jonah Hex himself! Buy it and I hope you'll enjoy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars If Aquaman wasn't cool before, well he is now!, 27 Aug 2013
Like almost everyone else, I thought that Aquaman was the biggest joke of superheroes, worthless to the comics and thought he truly was THE worst superhero of all time, but when I came across Aquaman Vol 1 The Trench, I was to myself "Hmmm, it looks cool, it sounds cool and others say its cool... but... it's Aquaman" but I thought that I'd risk it and pick it up and... WOW, it blew me away! I never thought that I'd ever like an Aquaman story or even Aquaman for that matter!!! This truly shows you that Geoff Johns is such an amazing writer and why he should be up there on the same level as Alan Moore! The art is one of the best that I've ever seen in graphic novels and make that action scene 100 more awesome than they already are (which by the way, are extremely awesome on their own!) So if you think that Aquaman sucks then this book is living proof why he doesn't and is one of the main reasons (including Vol 2, which I'll review later) why Aquaman has made it onto my top 10 favourite superheroes! So Aquaman haters can deal with this and learn that, a character is bad because of the writer and the way they're written, not because of who or what he is or what he can do! (Believe me, I used to be one of you lol) AQUAMAN IS AWESONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
