I'll Be Seeing You
I'll Be Seeing You
Price: £2.99

4.0 out of 5 stars Good read, 27 Jan. 2016
This is one of those nail biting books that you have to keep reading. Plenty of romantic tension alongside a plot that keeps you guessing to near the end I loved it and wanted everything to work out for Katherine because she had been through so much.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Read, 27 Jan. 2016
Nice little read with plenty of word candy to feed the imagination. Dr. Kyra Winters rocked as a character and I like the way Peyton Elliot developed. Above all it was not only fun but intelligently written.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny, 20 Jan. 2016
The idea of using fairy tales in counselling and therapy has been gathering momentum in recent years and Fairy Godmother Of The Four Directions is a good example. It is not only an enjoyable book to read but provides for instruction and reflection. Personally I could plough through a text book and not garner anywhere as much as I got from reading this book. Life is certainly filled with obstacles but addressing but articulating them in the form of a fairy-tale makes them seem far more surmountable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well written, clear message., 20 Jan. 2016
This review is from: Business As Usual (Kindle Edition)
Quite often these sort of books come across as preachy or leave the reader with no really discernible message but Business As Usual definitely hit the mark for me. Writing style and the short story context helped to articulate the author’s message in a way I could readily related to and reflect on. Overall I found there was much to reflect upon and I‘m determined to make some life changes as a result of reading it.

Fighting for Freedom in America: Memoir of a "Schizophrenia" and Mainstream Cultural Delusions
Price: £3.95

5.0 out of 5 stars Enlightening and thought provoking, 20 Jan. 2016
There are very few books that articulate the challenges faced by people with Schizophrenia but Fighting For Freedom in America is one of them. Clearly written I felt I was given a privileged view of the author’s life which left me with a far more informed perspective than I’d previously had. For anyone who knows someone suffering with Schizophrenia I would recommend reading this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Imaginative and highly entertaining adventure, 30 Dec. 2015
A genuine treat for fans of fantasy looking for a little escapism. By using the auspices of Time Travel, author WJ Scott successfully transports the mysteries of Ancient Egypt to the unlikely setting of the Australian desert! This got a raised eyebrow and I was keen to see how she would pull it off. Needless to say it all comes together to deliver an imaginative and highly entertaining adventure. It’s a quick read but one that leaves me keen to explore the other books in the series.

Tilt: A Climate Change Thriller
Tilt: A Climate Change Thriller
Price: £2.29

5.0 out of 5 stars Topical and entertaining!, 28 Dec. 2015
I like thrillers with an element of truth to them and grounding this one in the controversy surround climate change proved quite inspirational. The plot is very good with no annoying lose ends and quickly gathers momentum to deliver an exciting read. I think this is one of those books you will enjoy first time around but you will find a lot you missed if you read it again which I think is the mark of a good book. It not only entertains you, but makes you think as well.

Soul Warrior (The Age of Kali Book 1)
Soul Warrior (The Age of Kali Book 1)
Price: £2.82

5.0 out of 5 stars Magical, 28 Dec. 2015
Being such a popular genre there is so much to choose from but very few books and authors really distinguish themselves. This isn’t the case with Soul Warrior. Beautifully written and magically engaging from the very start it’s a truly adventure packed fantasy adventure that proves an exhilarating journey from cover to cover.
