5.0 out of 5 stars battered but unbending..., 4 Mar. 2014

Another great installment, and it isn't the end!

The characters grow with each book and I find myself getting worried as the odds stack up, then cheering them on when the the chips are down.

Thank you - keep it up!

5.0 out of 5 stars cracking story!, 7 Feb. 2014

I hope there's another instalment due soon?

Well developed and believable characters, and having a large percentage of women on board makes for an interesting twist. Just enough tech to be interesting, without it running the story.

Keep it up!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another superb adventure!, 17 Nov. 2013
Nathan and his crew are homeward bound at last, but the adventures are not over yet.

Some great twists I wasn't expecting, and as always Ryk does a brilliant job of bringing the characters to life. Can't wait to get in to the next book in the series!

Ep.#6 - "Head of the Dragon" (The Frontiers Saga)
Ep.#6 - "Head of the Dragon" (The Frontiers Saga)
Price: £2.49

5.0 out of 5 stars A great end to the adventure!, 4 Mar. 2013
The whole series had been a real page turner, and worth every penny.

The characters are well fleshed out, and the tech is just the right side of believable.

You're never entirely sure who's going to make it, which is a nice edge! Can't wait for the next instalment...

Thank you!

4.0 out of 5 stars Milky finish, 8 Oct. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Very easy to apply, and although the tin was small it goes a long way. Only two coats needed, so you don't have to wait for days applying multiple coats.

The finish is called 'natural' and claims to be matt. I'll agree with the matt finish, though I expect it will buff to a satin finish over time. However, the finish certainly isn't natural, and has left a the surface a noticable milky colour. Preferable to the yellow colour of Danish oil, but it definitely isn't 'natural' looking any more! Hopefully it'll age over time and the original colour will come through...

Although the wood doesn't really feel treated as it is matt to the touch, any water spilled beads up instantly, and I am confident the wood is fully protected.

4.0 out of 5 stars A spin-off the Fringe, 28 July 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Great to have a new story based on the Fringe Universe. New characters in a side plot, but still firmly within the framework of the main series.

As well written as the other books, and a real page turner - good to see some of the alien races being 'fleshed out' a little, and it has left me wondering how the author will incorporate the new characters (those who survived!) into the main story. Can't wait!

Come on Randolph! :o)

4.0 out of 5 stars Good replacement for the original, 20 May 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Does everything the original did, though some of the buttons take a bit of working out - eventually found "info" (more information on a program) when pressing the pause button.

The IR sender isn't perfectly aligned with the hole in the case, so the unit needs to be held at a bit of an angle, but it does work fine.

As good as one could hope at the price. :o)

5.0 out of 5 stars A Very classy watch with simple, clean lines and a quality feel, 19 Dec. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bought as a watch to wear with a shirt to the office yet smart enough to wear as a dress watch. Very slim so it doesn't catch on a shirt cuff, with a high quality feel to the whole design. Very impressed.
