5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Stuff from an under rated band., 29 Mar 2011
This review is from: Best of Ladytron 00-10 (Audio CD)
Listening to Ladytron at the moment and I am not disappointed at all. Very unusual but influential music and a complete cross between 80's music and modern day indie music. The vocals are amazing as well and the way the lead vocalist sings in reminds me of the Dubstar vocalist. Will listen to it on my iPod tommorow to get to grips with awesome music from a very under rated band. Brilliant tunes too.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must for all people who love Ice Dancing., 4 Mar 2011
From Torvill and Dean who were Ice Skating Legends, to the celebrities Hayley Tammadon and Chris Fountain being prime examples. A DVD that is right in the stratosphere with quality. Like Strictly Come Dancing coached by professional people for tuition albeit on ice instead. An asset DVD for all Ice Skating Fans including myself.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good tour DVD., 4 Mar 2011
If anyone is into dancing with good celebrities taking part in it this is the DVD for people. Magnificent DVD with past favourites Mark Ramprakash and Austin Healy taking part with the others. Also nice that Arlene Phillips was on the tour DVD as she was a very knowledgeable judge on the series, may have been a trip down memory lane for her, but worthwhile nonetheless. Nice work BBC.

5.0 out of 5 stars Belter of an album, 20 Feb 2011
Not one dud track on this whatsoever and the extended remixes are just as good if not better than the original versions as it offers us more than what we bargained for, which is good anyway and admittedly London Boys have consitency and are just as refreshing as they always were.

Ashame about their death but some of what they delivered was nothing short of masterpieces like 'London Nights', 'Requiem', 'My Love' and 'Harlem Desire'. If only todays music could match the class and talent that they produced it would be excellent.

Did not mind the fact that they wore a lot of lycra as it gave a unique image of what this band were about, they were not just singers, but entertainers too. The London Boys had an amazing dynamic which made them a breath of fresh air. An absolute belter of an album which I would seriously recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Roll on the best of lush., 12 Feb 2011
This review is from: Spooky (Audio CD)
The tunes lush created had lots of meaning, conviction and passion in what they did. Miss the shoegazing era of chapterhouse, boo radleys, slowdive and curve. Lush were not exception either but exceptional in the sense of the word that the tunes you could instantly admire and be drawn into.

My favourite tracks are definetely "Nothing Natural" and "For Love" as they are the most obvious ones. The others that I had no bearing of knowledge are decent too and it's not just one beat stuff but variation and that in turn spices up the album if you like.

Definetely reccomend this to anyone who is a shoegazing music type of fan and also a fan who liked Indie music in general. Bring on the best of as far as I am concerned because it leaves a legacy of what the band are/were truely about. Brilliant stuff.
