3.0 out of 5 stars CJ should stick to the Shardlake character of Tudor England., 27 Jan 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Dominion (Kindle Edition)
CJ Sansom is an excellent writer and anyone who has read the Shardlake novels would agree. Winter in Madrid was another different story and was much better than this book which promised so much but fails to intrigue the reader. It is okay in its premise but the tale bogs down with a few half-filled out characters and never gets going. Better to return to Tudor England than post second world war.
