South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut

4.0 out of 5 stars Hmmm, 5 Jun 2005
The first 20 minutes of this album are the songs from the film itself. These songs are magnificent, most are rather funny at the same time. However, to fill time, another half hour or so is filled with bands and rappers attempts to make songs encorporating some of the songs from the movie. There are 2 songs which are covers from the movie, these are probably the best songs which don't feature in the film.
In short, this is probably worth buying for the fantastic songs from the film, but that's only 20 minutes or so of music. The rest of the album is rather dissapointing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely brilliant show, 13 Mar 2005
This is 40 episodes of a brilliant show, great entertainment for kids and adults alike. The episodes featured on this set are as follows:
Your Shoe's Untied
Squid's Day Off
Something Smells
Bossy Boots
Big Pink Loser
Imitation Krabs
Wormy
Patty Hype
Grandma's Kisses
Squidville
Pre-Hibernation Week
Life of Crime
Survival of the Idiots
Dumped
No Free Rides
I'm Your Biggest Fanatic
Mermaidman & Barnacleboy III
Squirrel Jokes
The Smoking Peanut
Gary Takes a Bath
Welcome to the Chum Bucket
The Secret Box
Krusty Love
Procrastination
I'm with Stupid
Sailor Mouth
Artist Unknown
Jellyfish Hunter
The Fry Cook Games
Sandy, Spongebob & the Worm
Squid on Strike
and the standout episodes:
Band Geeks
The Graveyard Shift
Frankendoodle
Pressure
Bubble Buddy
Dying for Pie
along with 2 double length, 1/2 hour specials:
"Christmas Who?" and "You Wish/Shanghaid"
There are much less special features this time compared to season 1 however (mainly because most ideas for special features were used in season 1.
There are however, 7 (rather boring) commentaries by technical people such as animation directors, storyboards for 2 episodes and a mini featurette of clips of the opening titles in many different languages. If you have a region 1 compatable computer, there is also a script viewer.
Overall, this is a great DVD set despite the lack of decent special features and well worth importing from America.

5.0 out of 5 stars The first awesome season., 13 Mar 2005
Season 4 of The Simpsons is when it reached perfection, the animation is clean, the voices are all perfect and the writing is absolutely hilarious.
Season 4's episodes are as follows:

Treehouse of Horror III
Itchy & Scratchy: The Movie
Marge gets a Job
New Kid on the Block

Selma's Choice
Brother from the Same Planet
I Love Lisa
Duffless
Last Exit to Springfield
So It's Come to this: A Simpsons Clip Show
The Front

Marge in Chains
Krusty gets Kancelled
Not one of these episodes is anything less than brilliant, this season also includes 2 contenders for best episode ever:
"Homer the Heretic" and "Marge Vs. the Monorail"
There are also extensive special features:
A Word from Matt Groening
Special Language Featurette
Animation Showcases
The Cajun Contoversy: A featurette about the uproar after an anti-New Orleans song was published in a newspaper before the episode aired.
Animatics
Illustrated Commentaries
Bush Vs. Simpson: A Featurette about how members of the Bush family kept insulting The Simpsons.
Promotional Stuff -January 1993
Commercials
Deleted Scenes on selected episodes

5.0 out of 5 stars THE GREATEST THING EVER!, 1 Feb 2005
This review is from: Futurama - Season 3 [DVD] (DVD)
This is the best season of the best tv show ever. Therefore, it's the best dvd ever and is definately worth your money. This gives you such brilliant episodes as
The Luck of the Fryrish (where Fry goes in search of his long lost seven-leaf clover)
The Day the Earth Stood Stupid (where Earth is invaded by floating brains that make everyone stupid)
Insane in the Mainframe (where Fry and Bender are committed to the robot insane asylem)
Time Keeps on Slipping (where as the name suggests, time keeps on skipping)
I Dated a Robot (where Fry starts dating a robotic version of Lucty Lui)
Anthology of Interest Part II (Futurama's answer to The Simpsons' Halloween Specials)
Roswell that Ends Well (an Emmy winning episode where the planet express crew travel back in time to discover they were the aliens that crashed in the Roswell incident)
and many more.
This DVD also features loads of great special features including geniunly funny commentaries on each episode and the hilarious Christmas Message from David X. Cohen easter egg.
Buy it! I dare you!

5.0 out of 5 stars What a show!, 1 Feb 2005
This review is from: Futurama: Season 1 [DVD] (DVD)
Whilst season 1 of this show is probably the worst season and not anyway near The Simpsons' better seasons, this is still absolute genius and is still well worth buying. Infact, I can't recommend this show enough, this season and all 3 others! (You might want to get the complete box set though).

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply brilliant., 1 Feb 2005
This review is from: Futurama - Season 2 [DVD] (DVD)
Futurama is in my opinion (and many other peoples) the greatest tv show ever. It's definately better than The Simpsons. Season 2 is noway nere as good as season 3 or season 4 but it's still great (though probably not enough to rival the best Simpsons episodes). This is a must have for anyone, but if you've never seen Futurama, go for season 3 first.

5.0 out of 5 stars The second best season!, 1 Feb 2005
In my opinion The Simpsons Season 5 is the second best season of The Simpsons (6 being the best and that isn't out yet) so this is definately worth buying. This features such classic episodes as:
Cape Feare -the one where Sideshow Bob gets out of prison (again) and tries to kill Bart.
Treehouse of Horror IV -possibly the best Halloween special, this features The Devil and Homer Simpson where Homer sells his soul for a donut, Terror at 5 1/2 Feet where there's a gremlin on the side of Bart's school bus and Bart Simpson's Dracula where it turns out that Mr. Burns is a vampire and he bites Bart.
$pringfield -where Marge gets addicted to gambling
Homer & Apu -where Apu is fired from the Kwik-E-Mart and moves into The Simpson's house
as well as many other greats.
I wont bother listing them all as other reviewers already have.
This is a must have for any comedy fan.
