4.0 out of 5 stars Whats the fuss?, 5 Oct. 2008
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
Whats everyone complaining about? This game is one of the best WW2 games ever made. Its nice to see a game not following not following the majority of the other games. The detail on buildings is excellent, humans ok, plants not so good. Also why is everyone complaining about the story, its excellent, at times it brings a smile, a laugh and at times almost makes you cry, you could make an oscar winning movie with this story. If you want a shooter, with an excellent, detailed story buy this or you like strategic games. Or WW2 games, or your a fan of Rainbow Six Vegas, it uses the same engine and is just Rainbow Six with a WW2 setting. This game is also really difficult at times and CoD4 veteran difficulty is at times just as difficult as casual. This is a wake up call getting us back into fighting shape :). Definitely worth a look. It comes no where near COD4 or GoW, but its still an excellent game and is without a doubt in my mind worth buying.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent work, 12 Aug. 2008
This is very varied, with some of the most known conspiracy theories and less well known. Some stories, books, films etc. make a subject indisputable, this is one of those books in my opinion. Ok, maybe some of these conspiracy theories are far-fetched but the rest will open your eyes. If you are one of the people who believe everything you are told by the government to the bitter end this is not the book for you, it will make your blood boil and head explode! If not one of those people and are open-minded this book is worth a read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Having problems recognising tanks?, 12 Aug. 2008
This is excellent quality, very informative and does what it says on the cover. It has a wide range of types of tanks and its not just tanks, theres armoured cars and howitzers. It has a lot of detail on every vechile. Worth a look if you are interested in military ground vechiles.

5.0 out of 5 stars Plain fun!, 12 Aug. 2008

This is an extremely fun game. Children and adults can appreciate the fun and excellence of the game. You can build anything you wish and rule anyway you wish. They've never appealed and I never played any game like this before, but after playing the demo, I decided I would buy this excellent game. The offline is very fast-paced but online is very, very, very slow. Ats about the only few problems about the game. I recommend this game to anyone young or old.

This review is from: Risk Board Game (Toy)
This is the ultimate board game. Its the first board game focused on war I bought and once you get your head round the rules you'll have fun! Risk is just utter brilliance! Its easy to understand the rules and doesn't take to long to understand the rules. Its a fun game to play if you have a lot of people over.

1984 Nineteen Eighty-Four (Penguin Modern Classics)
by George Orwell
Edition: Paperback
Price: £7.19

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth a look, 5 Aug. 2008
Its amazing this book was wrote in the forties. Its very modern and alot of what George Orwell wrote come true, very worrying. Maybe not his best work, still a classic though. Sixty years later and 1984 is still going strong. He has, in my opinion wrote better books but I would definitely recommend this book. Orwell's last masterpiece.

4.0 out of 5 stars Just plain fun, 30 July 2008
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
First of all lets start with the offline. It has an ok story, it keeps you entertained, and the characters are varied, are, one possibly based off an average American guy, and they're funny, especially Haggard. The missions do get a bit tedious as they take so long. The offline is really just a tutorial for online as it teaches you all the gadgets which are essential to online survival. Now lets get to the best bit. Online is alot of fun, theres alot to do and the people I've met are cool, not the average person on COD4 or Halo 3. It is sometimes very agitating as when you try to connect to a game it doesn't allow it. Now to the controls and features. The on-foot controls aren't brilliant but aren't bad, though, if you play this, then COD4, you will notice the huge difference, how fast and precise the controls for COD4 are. BFs are a bit slow and clumsy. The vechile controls however, are brilliant, the helicopter controls are so much better than the notoriously bad helicopter controls for GTA IV. The health system is different to other FPSs but its not going to make every other game go in the same route. The destructible enviroments are expectable after a short period of time playing, though in my opinion still very fun. If you don't have PSN or LIVE don't buy this game, online totally carries it and its online which keeps you coming for more!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for everyone, 30 July 2008

This is going to be a bit of a comparison between the 360 and PS3.

I wouldn't say its a good looking machine, though the PS3 is quite good looking.
The machine is a complete money making excercise by MS.
The graphics are exceptional, the games are varied and mostly brilliant thankfully, LIVE is excellent though a bit of a scam. The noise from the machine is dreadful, it sounds like you are living inside a vacuum cleaner. The controllers are heavy and bulky and constantly need batteries. Its not the best product for value for money since everything you get free with the PS3 you have to pay for the 360 :(. The 20GB is the perfect console out of all three of the 360s in my opinion, its got most things you need. I would definitely recommend this console, but not before the PS3!

5.0 out of 5 stars Still going strong, 24 Mar. 2008
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
It may not be as good as CoD4, its cheaper though, but for about £20 at the moment its worth it. Its similar to CoD3, but CoD3 has more things to offer, but not a lot and theres still alot of people online. Its fun, cheap, great graphics and one of the best WW2 games, even the best. Its one of the best war games ever. When I went to buy it there wasn't alot left. In one shop there was six and a few days later when I went to get it I got the last one. Its definately worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best game of 2007, 25 Jan. 2008
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This game blows your mind. You have to constantly keep playing all the time, its just at good. When I get home I go straight for my PS3, turn it on and play CoD4 online for as long as I possibly can. Everything about the game is excellent. If you buy this game cancel all your plans, sale all your other games as you won't need them anymore as you are just going to be playing this game. The graphics are immense. I've pretty much told you everything, everything is perfect. The only bad thing I can think about is there was one tedious mission. The game blows other war, really all games out at the moment, out of the water. The future of Infinity Ward's CoD series looks extremely bright.
