5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to play game for young children, and fun for adults too., 19 Feb. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Brilliant game from Sega, good graphics, easy to follow and forgiving gameplay for us adults who cannot play video games to save ourselves (but have to play them along with the kids). Need a good gamepad/controller and graphics card to get the most out of the software. Well Pleased.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well made sturdy shoes., 19 Feb. 2012

These little shoes are "tough as old boots" (pardon the rather unoriginal pun!). Plenty of room for growth (nice wide fitting) and a rubberised toe cap to keep scuffs and marks to a minimum. Velcro on strap is the good quality stuff. Well please :)

5.0 out of 5 stars My daughter loves this game!, 19 Feb. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bought this for my little girl and she absolutely loves it! Screenplay and story-line in game is also a good way of introducing the six Star Wars episodes, that could probably be the best double trilogy in cinematic history. Need a good game pad/controller to get the best out of the game.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality branded product!, 19 Feb. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I had bulbs go "pop" in the past due to poor manufacturing; mostly from budget makes. With Eveready you get what you pay for, and you don't have to pay that much extra, compared to the other poorer brands, to get a decent product. Well please with this purchase!

1.0 out of 5 stars Not what I expected!, 19 Feb. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Item arrived as described but wasn't long until I found that tobacco dried out quickly making it crumble and leak out of the tin. Assuming that this is not a product fault (not much can go wrong with a tobacco tin) I can only come to the conclusion that that this is a design flaw . Managed to sort out, to a certain extent, the airtightness of the tin by applying a little self adhesive foam to the underside of lid. One other thing! the shiny finish makes it slippery, making it quite cumbersome to roll a cig whilst holding the tin.

1.0 out of 5 stars Why are headphones so poor these days?, 19 Feb. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Lets compare the old days to what we have today! I am one of the personnel stereo generation when listening to music on the move could only be done by means of a compact cassette or disc player. In these days music on the move wasn't as mainstream, with only a few major brands catering for lightweight, affordable, quality headphone sets. True, headphones were not as ascetically inspiring then, and music on the move wasn't as popular as it is today. I cannot see the justification in manufactures' such as the Beats and the Boses' of today pricing their products in the hundreds of pounds in the pretence that "you get what you pay for" and that more money spent = better product. Realistically they cannot justify the cost of materials/research attributing to their hefty price tags leaving one to assume that a lot of what one pays for is brand image. Hence I decided to buy a cheap, but reputably branded headphone. Okay, now for the review :

Build quality - average, but with lightweight headphones build quality is almost always traded off against weight.

Wear-ability (I think I just made up this word!) - good, very light on the ears with no excessive pressure and nice soft pads.

Sound Quality - absolutely dire!!! Very thin, tinny sound with poor soundstage. In fact I cannot think of a good thing to say about how they sound!

I had bought these to replace a worn out tatty pair of JVC headphones (model number : HA CD71F), not expecting anyone to recognise these as they are a budget pair, that I had bought around 10 years ago and, although I can't remember how much I had paid, being a "cheap-skate" (that I am), would not have paid much more than a tenner. On a like for like comparison my 10 year old HA CD71F's blow the socks off the HA-S160-B-E FLATS. Why should that be? when headphones should have come quite some way since then? Weird!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars I like it!, 6 Dec. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Can't say that I'm an avid gamer, as I purchased this for my daughter to play a Star Wars game on the PC. First impressions : good quality plastics, D-pad and buttons feel tactile, and plenty (albeit a little cumbersome at times) of cord length. Set-up is very straight forward, simply install the CD software and then plug in the controller and you're ready to go! As for game-play the controller is responsive, well shaped and comfortable to use. A good quality and usable product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not bad at all, 19 Aug. 2011

I didn't think I could be a fan of watches with large faces but this one is exceptionally comfortable to wear; guess this could be due to its weight being spread out more. The large dial makes reading the time very easy and the crystal, so far, has not scratched during the 4 months I've worn it. My only quibble is that at certain positions the hands cover up the other, smaller, dials. The strap is good quality and doesn't nip the skin and the dial's phosphorescence markers give off a good glow in dark conditions. Well please with this purchase.

3.0 out of 5 stars Jack of all trades..., 19 Aug. 2011

The pen feels very solid but I found the barrel a bit too wide and heavy for my liking. Black and red ink write smoothly but I've noticed the the pencil lead breaks too easily, great care must be taken not to drop this pen or to put in down hastily as this will result in a broken lead. I was surprised to notice that there wasn't an eraser under the button considering this is common with most pens of this type. The ink refills are very small, looking at the mechanism inside Parker could have easily allowed for bigger refills leaving enough room for the internal workings of the pen. Definitely some scope for improvement here for Parker.

5.0 out of 5 stars Typical Tariq Ali 'like it or lump it' painfully honest approach, 14 Oct. 2009

A historical account of the former Sub Continent focusing on post independence. Good point of reference for facts and dates with many facts contradicting what some folklore will tell you. A very much to the point, socialist, view of the situation in Pakistan, the Author has nothing to hide when making an assessment of his country.
