Disappointing, 9 Aug 2011
As an avid follower of the WU since 93 I am deeply disappointed with this instalment. The main reason is the missing members. Not having the GZA on there is like having the Rolling Stones with no Jagger!
The Album itself opens really well. (although Ive never been a big fan of MOP) and the second track is reminiscent of the old with the booming bass line and the wu samples. This had my head nodding with a smile on my face! But then the album sinks slowly back into mediocrity with a few hints of RZA magic to keep you wondering what could have been. Ive still live in hope that they'll revive their former glory.
