5.0 out of 5 stars Gangland to vodka, 19 Aug. 2015
This review is from: The Bride's Trail (Kindle Edition)
The thing is when you get down to it what A.A.Abbott does best,in all three novels so far, is story tell. This is no exception.
Pithy characters whos personas are instantly believable and totally engaging get wrapped and woven so tighly together its hard not to root both heros and villains alike.
Once drama has all too quickly been played out you too will be like me and just missing them but glad we all met.

Yeah Yeah Yeah: The Story of Modern Pop
Yeah Yeah Yeah: The Story of Modern Pop
by Bob Stanley
Edition: Paperback

4.0 out of 5 stars Yeah Yeah maybe, 27 Jan. 2014
Totally engaged with this right from the start. Picking his way through the path of pop from the fifties to the nineties was brilliantly constructed then somehow he just managed to let the success of his Britpop 'peers' rankle which sour's the closing narrative.
Well worth the time to read and you'll be singing few classics in your head as you go too.
