It's a fun game with really solid combat, though the story is a bit silly you can forgive the game because all it wants to do is cut anything it can into little pieces.

There is now a PC release but its textures are not up to scratch given the power of a modern-day computer as consoles use very old technology in computer terms. Nonetheless I would recommend that you get the PC release and then play with a controller as it would provide a better experience (in my view).

There isn't much to say about the story but it is based on Raiden's exploits after the fall of the PMCs and SOP in MGS4, this ties loosely into the story but I feel that the developers just wanted to make Raiden the ultimate cyborg ninja and there is little reference to MGS4. The voice acting is okay if you feel forgiving and the music is really fast-paced and quite brilliant, to add to that it runs really smoothly which improves the experience ten-fold.

For a 'First-Impressions' video I would recommend you search for TotalBiscuit's video on it (on YouTube).

I would highly recommend it to anyone as the game is well-balanced, very enjoyable and it doesn't ever get old cutting things into hundreds of little pieces!

5.0 out of 5 stars A lovely game series., 12 Oct. 2013

I have loved this game series for a very long time and was very surprised when I heard about this release!
The package itself was smaller than I thought but I cannot complain as it is way more worth it then the MGS HD Collection, which only had three of the games. There was an artbook as well which was never released in the EU so being a Brit I really appreciated that! I would heartily recommend you buy this if you are a fan of the series and it is worth playing - the game series that invented stealth action, for less than £40.

Really good deal and really good game series.

The delivery was very fast as well, as usual for me.

If you wait until the superpowers come you can have a load of fun!

With a massive range of airstrikes to obliterate entire cities you will be sure to be curious... Especially on the MOAB. You will want to play the game simply for the experience of being a one-man army and the complete and utter destruction this game offers.
