I was desperate to give up smoking and thought I was never going to be able to especially when having a drink or being stressed out. I had heard about people in the past reading this book and quitting so I decided to buy it as it seemed a cheap way to try. When first starting to read I was a little sceptical and at the beginning you do just feel like you are reading the same thing over and over but then I found I couldn't put it down and had to carry on until I finished! I quit the very moment I read the last page and haven't smoked since. The test was going out to the pub with my friends and feeling such an overwhelming sense of achievment and with no cravings whatsoever. I'd highly recommend reading this book before wasting money on patches or anything else.
