5.0 out of 5 stars A great beginning to an awesome series, 19 Jun. 2009
At first I wasn't so sure this book was going to be very good, as it does admittedly start a little slow with the main character, Jack Reacher (a hardened ex-marine police officer with an incredible ability to think on his feet) being arrested in a little town in the middle of nowhere with vety little explanation. However, after the first couple of chapters the plot begins to develop and becomes much more enjoyable. There is also no lack of action throughout the story and plenty of twists along the way, that made this book really hard to put down.
All in all I would highly recommend this book especially to any fans of the crime thriller genre, and after reading this book I guarantee you'll be looking out for Jack Reachers next adventure.

3.0 out of 5 stars Getting better, but not quite there !, 27 May 2009
This review is from: Dexter by Design (Hardcover)
As the fourth book in the series I guess I expected a little more from our mild manered serial killer, especially after the dissapointing third book. This book is a definate improvement on that, however it seems as though dexter is always playing catch up throughout the story and his ever present witty and clever charm seems to have gone completley out the window, now while I understand the reasons for this due to the events along the way it still seems that the heartless monster that is dexter appears to be softening and the cool calm and colleted dexter i know i fell in love with seems to have dissapeared only to become some sort of idiot who doesnt seem to know what he is doing. This can be forgiven as I supose its a new approach and the story is told well but does however does lead to an unsatisfying final showdown. All in all for the more hardcore fans I would recommed the fourth book of the series but for any with a mere interest in dexters outings stick to the first two books as they are both far better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Media Player Perfection, 13 July 2007
First of all I would like to say that the sansa does take a little while to start up but it is no means a long time to wait (around 10 - 15 seconds) as for adding music onto your player it is incredably simple as it only requires a simple drag and drop system no annoying software is required. And as this player uses flash memory rather that a hard drive it makes the player much more durrable.

The software bundled with the player allows you to convert images and videos to the player is incredably simple to use and works great.

In my oppion anyone looking to buy a great mp3 player for work/school or for just generally listening to music need look no futher, this is a great music player bundled with pleanty of cool extras such as the video playback, images and the voice recorder. Also as this player supports WMA files far more music can be stored onto it, rather than convential players only accecpting mp3 files. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase and would deffinatly recommend it. Only grumble was that no mains plug was included since it is intended to be charded through a usb port however I also bought a sansa UK mains charger which also works a treat.
