4.0 out of 5 stars More Geared Towards iPod Than Sony's Own Walkman Brand, 23 Mar 2011
I bought this to use with my new A series Walkman as the Sony website described it as suitable for use with all MP3 players including iPod and Walkman. However, it only comes with the adapter for iPod and although the instructions say the WM port adapter for Walkman is available separately, it isn't available in this country and the US Sony store doesn't ship abroad. This means you have to connect to any non-iPod MP3 player (unless it's a pen-drive type)using a USB cable and this isn't particularly practical as it has to be crammed into the 'tune tray' and cn stop it from opening up when you want to take the player back out again. This of course mean I'm pretty much forced to return my Walkman and upgrade to a more expensive iPod as Sony seem to be designing their products to accomodate the current fashion rather than make their own range of products 100% compatible. Why they can't do both is a mystery as it now means I'll only be making use of one of their products not two...

3.0 out of 5 stars So close but not quite..., 5 July 2010
This could have been the definitive collection of Kylie's Deconstruction period. If only they'd included Take Me With You and Love Takes Over Me rather than the alternate mix of Falling and the acoustic version of If You Don't Love me which apart from being recorded during a differnt session is barely different to the other version included on the compliation.

Of course, there will always be debate over which mix of Were Is The Feeling should be included, and maybe it would be nice for the Bish Bosh mix to have a turn seeing as that was the version that enjoyed airplay. Finally a bit more consideration given to the track order (a KM94 based disc and an Impossible Princess focussed disc wouldn't have been a bad idea) and artwork more representative of the era would have made this a perfect set.
