Works great, I have had no problems and it works straight out of the box. I have a Wii-U and an Xbox360 as inputs and it switches between them when you turn the consoles on and off.

3.0 out of 5 stars Difficult to recommend, 24 Oct 2013

So these LED GU10s should be great given the cost. When you plug them in they do give a really good amount of light - very close to a 50W halogen. However, I can't have more than 3 plugged into a single light fitting as it causes the fuse in my fusebox to blow! Its bizarre and I've even had an electrician called out as I thought I had electrical problems, after a lot of trial and error it turned out to be these bulbs. When I stick the nasty 50W halogens in, they work just fine.

So YES they are good but use with caution - they may be ok if they are not in light fittings that have lots of bulbs (mine has 6).

5.0 out of 5 stars Best involver yet, 7 April 2013

This review is from: Sasha Involver 3 (Audio CD)
Sasha returns with another mix album full of his remixes. The first Involver was good and had a fairly chilled out sound, the kind of thing you sit and listen to at home. The second Involver was a darker, more clubby sound and most of the tracks work well on the dancefloor.

The latest installment sits somewhere between the two. I think all of the tracks on Involver3 have a vocal in them and most are pretty good vocals too - this makes it more accessible than the darker Involver2. At the same time, Involver3 manages to stay pretty upbeat so you could easily dance to the tracks just as much as listen at home or on your earphones.

There are the usual Sasha trademark sounds and production values so you could take the Pepsi challenge and spot who produced them all. Even then, due to the high quality of the original tracks it keeps you interested.

My stand out favourite is the Battleships remix.

Well its a USB cable and it connects USB devices together! Seriously though, its well built, the cable feels tough and the lighted ends are really useful in low light situations.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little hub, 5 Aug 2010

This is easily the best USB I have used, and worth the little extra money it costs over the slightly more expensive models. Its sturdy and feels well built. It has 5 USB ports on the back plus two on the top. There is a grippy thing that holds all of your USB cables together to keep your desk tidy.

It comes with a USB cable so you can attach it to your PC and an AC power cable. The length of both cables is more than enough to reach from the floor up to desk height.

What else can I say? It does exactly what it says on the tin!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good little device, 4 Aug 2010

For the price this is great value. I've spent some time playing around with it to try and find the best setup for me; thats not to say that this is difficult to configure - its just I like to get things working perfectly!
There is no need for this to be difficult to setup. There is a quick setup program on the included CD that does it for you; a few steps through a wizard and it is done.
Both the repeater and your own broadband router need a different IP address, on the same subnet. They will also have a different SSID, so your wireless devices will need to have both SSIDs added to their setup. This shouldn't be a problem as normally devices like iPhones or laptops will choose the strongest signal anyway.
The repeater needs to be reasonably close to your main router as it also is communicating wirelessly so needs to get a good signal. So don't expect this to work well if you put it miles away from your main router.
Overall a great product, I'm very happy with it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing from Fabric, 3 Aug 2010

This review is from: Elevator Music (Audio CD)
It really is Elevator Music - I should have read the label more carefully. The music on this is instantly forgettable, far too bland. I have given it a few listens now but I just can't get into it.

There are few different styles on here, all in full track / unmixed form.

I really wish I had bought something else.

4.0 out of 5 stars Digweed on form, 3 Aug 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a great mix CD/DVD package from Diggers. I didn't give it the full 5 stars because I don't think that in all honesty it is a classic mix, but it is good.

The first CD is a kind of deep house / deep progressive style; the second CD picks it up a notch with a more techno-ish / progressive style. It is a studio mix rather than a live mix, as such Digweed crams in a lot of tracks, some tracks only playing for a minute or two.

I wouldn't say that the music on this track is as cutting-edge as some of his other stuff (such as the Transitions series). That being said, if you like John Digweed then you will like this CD, its as simple as that.

The DVD features a short film about Digweed called Eye of the Storm, plus a live mix (audio only, no video) and some artwork stuff.

Overall I would recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great new design, 3 Aug 2010
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is what the Xbox 360 should have been like when it first came out! It is a little smaller than the old model, much, much quieter and looks great.
It may be too early to say whether this will have reliability issues, but I have had no problems yet. Besides the whole idea behind releasing the new one is to update the design so I would be surprised if Microsoft made it worse!
It comes with a single black controller, component cable and power supply. No HDMI cable is included so buy your own - and don't be tricked into buying an expensive HDMI cable, its not necessary! It has a built in Wireless-G card too which is a great feature.
There is no reason in the world to buy this if you have a fully functioning old Xbox 360. At the end of the day, once you start to play games it is the same as the old one. My old one refused to play games due a graphics card defect, but it was 4 years old.
If you are considering buying a new Xbox and are wondering whether the new model is worth the few extra quid - then I would say yes it is - absolutely!

3.0 out of 5 stars Be aware, 28 July 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Be aware that Homeplugs are not suitable for everybody. The electrical wiring in some homes are just not suitable. The best speed I could get out of these 85Mbps models was 8Mbps - obviously not great as I could get 18Mbps out of the wireless. I spent a lot of time trying to configure my network, turned off everything else electrical in the house, tried different sockets - but to no avail.

Although advertised as 85Mbps, the highest you could ever get in a near-perfect setup would be around 30Mbps, so don't believe the numbers. To be fair, this also applies to wireless as well.

I have read of people with new houses and old houses who can both get it working fine; so it seems to be something else. Sometimes they just don't work. So I have gone back to thinking of drilling holes in the walls for Cat-5 cable.
