5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Game!, 30 Nov. 2012
I am really loving this game, great graphics and storyline! You are Jason a guy who was partying with his pals on holiday, and they get kidnapped by pirates lead by Vaas (The insane guy) as you probably already know. Your task is to save your friends using the great amount of weapons available. Far Cry is huge, I doubt you will even want to play the main missions with all these other things going on around you such as side quests, pirate outposts, wild animal encounters (Leapords, Boar, Goats, etc.) Compared to Far Cry 2 this is 10x better, the story is much more solid although they are both pretty similar. There is lots of equipment to choose from - snipers, tag camera, molotovs, C4, combat knives, crossbows! So much fun. When you are using the equipment you may use it stealthily or guns blazing, you can sit on a cliff sniping or get on a zip line and hip fire your AK47. You get XP for killing people/capturing outposts, you can use the points on new skills such as an extra health bar or new ways to kill enemy's. You can craft things too using flowers and skins you have picked, these things are extra equipment slots. The multiplayer is nothing special, just another call of duty type game but there is a coop game too which isn't too fun. The Insane Edition is very good, you get 2 DLC's and a lot of guns, the little survival booklet I got was scrunched up like a dog had tried to eat it, not sure if its supposed to be like that but I don't like it. The Vaas bobble head is quite cool but its head doesn't wobble enough! So yes brilliant game, try to get this edition if you can because its definitely worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Game, Not a great collectors Edition., 1 Nov. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
First I'm going to say the AC3 is a brilliant game following Connor, a native American who is looking for vengeance and peace. Your main areas are Boston, The Frontier, Homestead and New York all with new missions & points of interest. You will be faced with many surprises along the game which will give you goosebumps and confusion. You will then learn the truth and what not about Desmond and Abstergo.
Multiplayer mode is pretty much the same as before except new characters, maps and modes. - Wolfpack, search in twos to kill your targets in many different ways and Domination.

New Features include:
Animals, you can pet, feed & hunt them.
Hunting, you can buy numerous items for hunting such as bait, traps and a crossbow. There are lots of animals to hunt & skin in the frontier such as deer, hares, elk, cougars, raccoon, beavers and even bears.
There is now a Weather system which varies from Mild, humid, rain and snow.
You can do Aquila missions (ship) where you control a huge vessel and fight with cannons.

So yeah brilliant game.

The Join or Die edition however was very cheaply made. In Washington's journal 3 or 4 of the pages were not separated so I had to cut through them with scissors which I really shouldn't have to, and my cutting isn't exactly the greatest. The book is very interesting however. EDIT: As a couple of people have told me, the pages in the journal were meant to be stuck to each other as there was a page cutter inside which I assumed was a bookmark, there was no clear instruction though.
The bag Connors Medallion came in was ripped and I had to spend ages knotting the bag up.
The medallion itself was not how it looked on the pictures, It was hard to read the inscriptions due to the black paint on the medallion, so does not look shiny at all.
The collectors box is pretty nice though.

I recommend purchasing the more expensive edition or the normal edition but this one is only £10 more than the normal price so I wasn't that bothered.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Game, Great Sequel, 14 Oct. 2012
Well I'm halfway through the game and I have noticed quite a few changes from Pokemon White 1.

You start in a new city which is pretty large compared to the ones you originally begun in (Twinleaf town and Nuvema town) there are large houses and also a Gym now too. The rest of the map seems to be the same as BW1 with a few minor changes to some of the towns.

A new addition in one of the new towns is The Pokewood film studio where you may watch and create your own films although it's pretty much just battling, it's still pretty good fun.

They have also added the old gen of Pokemon back in to the wild as well as this gen, within my first walk through the grass I found and caught a Psyduck. The Pokedex has a habitat system which tells you which Pokemon are in the area making completion of the Pokedex easy.

The story carry's on following Team Plasma and a strange scientist who you will learn much about during your adventure. You also meet 3 people - Your Rival, Iris & Bianca (from the TV show)which makes a nice addition to the game.

There is a new badge system which you earn badges by completing the challenges shown in your medal box, they are much like Xbox, PS3 & Steam achievements/trophy's, the medals are pretty simple anyway (ride your bike, saving your game etc).

Lastly there is a new area which allows you to build shops and manage an avenue which allows other online players to visit your avenue and buy things from your shops, you may also visit their avenues. I can't say much more without giving away spoilers so yeah it's a brilliant sequel.

5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite show!, 8 Sept. 2012
I bought the box set after it finished on TV a few years ago because I loved it so much, It's pretty much what it says on the tin. You wont get as ultimate as this series! Ross Kemp is a brilliant actor in this and fits the SAS sergeant character perfectly. We are showed the life of a small SAS team who see death and pain every single day yet keep moving on every time, each character has his own interesting story and only during the long series will you find out each and everyone's little secrets. Definitely 5 Stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't wait for a sequel!, 8 Sept. 2012

The game was a bit slow to start off (as most games are) but after I passed the tutorial I found this game thoroughly entertaining, another good thing is that the GOTY edition starts you off with some powerful weapons and armor so you definitely shouldn't struggle at the beginning. The aim system is very clever, you can choose what part of the body you wish to shoot at and the hit percentage. The add ons that came with the GOTY were fun as well aliens and Military Sims very entertaining, I recommend to any RPG fans.
