Finally with the latest update to eee pad firmware, it is compatible with ethernet. This device works perfectly with the eee pad, allowing ethernet connection to a usb port. No drivers are required; the device is supported natively by the ics android 4 operating system.
Great machine. Easy to set up and excellent reception of Freeview HD and SD channels. Good clear user interface. Two niggles prevent this from getting five stars. 1. Would not connect initially to home network and internet. However, after it self-downloaded a software update, this problem was fixed. 2. No BBC iplayer. I believe this ships with the old version of Viera cast, and not the latest version (which does include iplayer) which is on the latest Panasonic TVs. I am hoping a software upgrade wil fix this in time, But it is disappointing it is not there out of the box.
