2.0 out of 5 stars GUY ROPES EVERYWHERE !!, 6 Jan 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Firstly, I am a big fan of coleman camping products !!
Almost all of my camping gear is made by coleman, and they are very very good indeed ! but not this...
This windbreak with the material being micro thin and having no sturdy internal support rods, now requires guy ropes in every direction in order to support it. ( not shown in the picture ! )
Even then, with all the guy ropes secured and in place, it is still rather flimsey.
Whats worse, when all these guy ropes are finally in place and secured, and due to all the space the ropes require, it now cant go next to, or anywhere close to your tent, and also a major trip hazard !!!
So in my view pointless. Sorry coleman!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good idea, but were do you start !, 6 Jan 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this thinking at first it was a sort of book, but its actually a pack of thirty individual walk cards.
This is a great idea !
Each of the many different walks has its own card, which you then place into the provided plastic cover - nice !
This is to both protect the info card from the weather, and make it quick and easy to glance at the card and confirm were you need to go. Also fits nicely into your pocket.
I have only done four walks so far and found the card easy to read and understand.
The information on gradient and estimated time of the walk was also very usefull.
I gave this four stars instead of five for one reason, were do you start the walks from ?
The start of some of the walks can be rather vague, even using an OS map, so i often struggled to find the starting point. Perhaps a postcode for the start point car park would prove most usefull.
All said and done - great value !

4.0 out of 5 stars Good tripod , but not for binoculas., 6 Jan 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this tripod to go with a large pair of astro binoculas.
This tripod is a good quality product, it is easy to assemble, extends up to almost four times its height out of the bag and is very well designed.
It looks the part to !
This tripod is very lightweight and folds neatly into its carry bag, so easy to carry on short journeys.
I gave this product four stars instead of five as it was initally advertised as suitable for binoculas.
I say its not! For stargazing its really not suitable as its simply to lightweight to hold heavy binoculas and maintain a steady view.
However For digital cameras and small video units, i think it would be ideal.
