5.0 out of 5 stars A Real Classic!, 28 April 2005
Well what can I say? I have been a follower of Crossroads since its return in 2001 and I had to buy this to see what I had missed... All I can say is WOW... Yes there are a few problems (the same that Corronation Street had I might add) but it was superb stuff. The Shooting of David Hunter had me on the edge of my seat.
The Extras are brilliant too with some trailers and so on. I recomend this DVD to any Crossroads fan old or new. Even someone who had never seen Crossroads might Appreciate this excellent array of Classic Crossroads!
Crossroads Motel... How May I Help You?

1.0 out of 5 stars Whats the difference., 30 Aug. 2004
Well firstly the title is mis-leading as he is in New York for about 30 mins. Secondly the music at the start is very up-beat and fun. ER HELLO this is suposed to be a horror flick! It shows all different parts of new york to open which again is very boring and not very scary. What happend to The hockey mask breaking after an introduction. Thats right no intro. Just straight in music. Oh and the credits are in PINK!
When the movie finally does get started Camp Crystal Lake has lights on which is strange for camp thats closed. The boat comes on with two very akward actors. an anchor is put down and it grabs an electricity line which again brings Jason back. Yes electricity again. Happend in "Jason Lives".
The main part of the story takes place on a boat and so is the majority of the films. really the film should be called "Friday the 13th Jason takes a boat and kills a pointless amount of kids"
The film has no scares as mainly things are done with lots of light. Lots of scenes with people dancing to cheesy eighties music which once again takes a way the scaryness. After a while the films becomes boring and you dont care anymore. The acting is poor with only one good one from the bunch(Scott Reeves who is now famous in the USA).
The famous Jason "Ch Ch Ch... Ah Ah Ah..." are made eighties again and are not in the slightest bit scary. When the end of the movie arrives you hoping no one survives and that Jason does finally die.
This film is only for Die-Hard jason fans and anyone looking for a scare should run over to halloween. At least they use scary music.
Also my title is saying whats the difference from every other friday from 3 onwards. Except for "Jason Lives" which is very cool.
This maybe harsh but the movie really does blow.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sequels dont get much better!, 30 Aug. 2004
This review is from: Halloween II [DVD] (DVD)
Well... you watch Halloween and you get scared... you watch Halloween 2 and once again your scared. Which really is a suprise for a horror sequel. This really was one of the greatest eighties slasher.
When you see Michael walking past security cameras you see the full evil by the way he walks and how he looks. The way Michael kills is also different from Halloween as this time with him being in the hospital he uses the implimants like needles to drain peoples blood and other curious things.
The acting from the other character is not brilliant but the enchanting Jamie Lee Curtis delivers onces again an amazing performane while Donald Pleasance acts so well you would think he really was Doctor Loomis.
"From the people who brought you Halloween...
More of the night HE came home"
"You can't kill the Boogeyman"

3.0 out of 5 stars Average, 30 Aug. 2004
This review is from: Halloween Camp [DVD] [2003] (DVD)
This film is friday the 13th on a lower budget. But with the budget they work some magic. The death scenes are grusome. well Very grusome for a 15. Legs being hacked of aint bad for blood lovers.
It DOES have a story which is suprising for a cheap horror flick. As friday the 13th don't and thats popular. After a while you care for some of the characters which again is different.
Its an average film but a top-class horror flick. Enjoy.
P.S This is the second in a series. For some reason the title has changed. Its called Scream Bloody Murder. I don't understand why they changed it but it don't matter!
