5.0 out of 5 stars A good reference text for students and existing paramedics, 18 Feb. 2010
Continuing a trend of high quality UK prehospital texts, the manual of clinical paramedic procedures delivers what is says on the cover. It has comprehensive coverage of patient assessment and clinical skills, which is useful for teaching and revision. Thoroughly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars A perfect text for introducing and developing interpretation skills, 8 July 2008
This is a comprehensive text covering a tricky topic. It uses full size A4 ECG's throughout, which makes the whole learning process a lot easier. The text is clear and easy to follow and I have found it to be a great book to support teaching paramedics at university. It has the odd curveball (the use of calipers for instance!), but covers all of the key areas well and in a three tiered system of depth, so you can start at level 1 to grasp the basics, but can also tease out some of the minutiae if you are already an ECG guru.
