Slazenger Championship Hi Vis Balls Pack - White/Yellow/Black, Size 3 Uds
Slazenger Championship Hi Vis Balls Pack - White/Yellow/Black, Size 3 Uds

5.0 out of 5 stars great., 26 July 2016

Sorry if you are expecting me to extol of the virtues of how well these tennis balls perform, unfortunately I did not buy them for tennis.
I have a bad back, and the physio, told me to buy a tennis ball [ha ha, who can buy singly these days] and use it for massage. For people who want to try this, you hold the ball between the wall, and the tight muscle, then you lean gently against the ball, putting pressure on the painful bit. Then you move to give a massage. This works on backs, shoulders etc.
But they are excellent and strong.

5.0 out of 5 stars great Shave., 26 July 2016

This is bought for my husband, he likes this make of shaving Cream, Cream being the word. He hates gels, foams, and any other type of shaving aid. He likes the old fashioned wet shave. This and the moisture one, [currently out of stock] are the ones he likes, no extra perfume smells, nothing to sting the skin. This is just great and lasts a long time.

This is the second of two books about a young man in WW2, who ended up in submarines. These stories are different from the usual WW2 books and are a pleasure to read. Well written, and thoughtful. I so enjoyed the first book that I bought this one. I did not even know that the Free French Navy was viewed with such distrusted that they had to have a British liaison office on board reporting back. You learn a lot about life under the waves, in these two books. One amazing thing the French had to have room for enough wine for each trip. Try the book, it is something different.

Harry has just started University when WW2 started and he volunteered for the Navy. The snobbishness of the "real" navy v the volunteers is hard to understand while the country is at war. Something you would not expect. Harry finds a way round, by joining the submarines. I had never before read a book about life below the waves before, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The style of writing is different and lightly amusing. The descriptions take you down, below the waves. The book is an eyeopener about how much discomfort submariners put up with in these small submarines.
Give it a go.

4.0 out of 5 stars OK if you like a tight waist., 12 May 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The actual pants were an ok fit, but the fact that they had a wide waist band meant that, that was too tight. If my husband had gone for the next size the waist would have been ok, [even though he does not like a wide elastic waist band] but the rest of the pants would have been too baggy.
I shall not buy on line again for this garment, as you cannot see properly what you are buying, and although it does not say so, even if you do not open the package, there is no exchange. The quality of the material was good.

Lee Child always produces a good story, I am re-reading all the Jack Reacher books at the moment, and am surprised how much there is in the book. This book was moving the whole time, with so much in it, you do not want to put it down. Each of the books are stand alone, and you never feel you have missed anything by not reading the others. I like these earlier books better than the later ones. 9/11 changed the way writers are able to write stories as lots of things changed then. The Jack Reacher of these early stories would not be able to fly etc with out modern ID. No bad language, and a likeable hero.

I enjoyed this book, however I think at times the book was a little stretched, but it did not spoil the book.David Baldacci, manages to avoid the pitfall of make Amos's brain so clever that he hardly needs to do any investigation. He has been smart enough to use it to make his book different, but not to over use it. To offset this, his Amos has not got a lot of social graces. However he is a character you can like. I would suggest reading book one firsts so that you get an understanding of his brain problems.

5.0 out of 5 stars Something different., 7 May 2016

This a slightly different book, to the ones I usually read, But I really enjoyed it. It gives you a look into a small town world and the believes of the small group of Quakers. It does not push religion at you, and it is not a religious book.
The people seem very real, and well written. When troubles arrive, it is resolved with Quaker principals in mind. A delightful book, well worth a read.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not for me., 19 April 2016

I bought these as they were new and sent by prime to get them quickly. However I am disappointed. They have no tape/plaster on them, must not go next to skin. Now it could be that I missed those instructions when I read the details. As they are 12 hr patches, it is difficult at night to keep them in place on night cloths. Stuck to skin is better. To have no tape on at all, means you have to have in some tape to hold them in place. I suppose they are Suitable for those who cannot use plasters, and have sensitive skin. They are for my lower back, so currently am holding it in place between pants and vest.Have to remember when visiting the bathroom or I could lose the pad. [Whoops} They are warm, I can feel it working. So that is good.
Not sure what you do if you want it for knee or shoulders. Will use the other one, but not buy again.
More information should be given so we only buy what we want. Description please.

The fit is great, room at the toe and not too tight, I have a size 6 foot, a bit broad and a lot of socks stretch to fit, making the sock tight, these are wonderful, plus they are light, and the ankle part stops above the ankle bone, no going half way up the calf. Just perfect. The little bows look cute as well. I have washed them once, and no sign of shrinkage. They are labeled size 4 - 8 when you get them. I would say if you were a size four, they would be big for you, unless your feet are very broad.
