Slik Ball Head 800
Slik Ball Head 800

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent heavy-duty ball head. Perfect combined with a small fluid head and slider., 30 Jun. 2014
This review is from: Slik Ball Head 800 (Camera)
I've owned many ball heads in my time, but this one is work of industrial design heaven.
The rubberised friction locker on the side of the ball head is firm and easy to manipulate. The ball head itself is very heavy and well-built, and can take a large maximum load making this the perfect way to add height, and levelling to vertical slider shots.
I have this mounted directly to my slider, and I then mount my Benro s2 Fluid Head onto this. The ball head works to quickly level the camera, and allow for unique angles.
The ball head also has a fluid base for panning, so when combined with the Benro S2' I have multiple ways of getting pan. A must have in my opinion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Slow starter, but brilliant series., 19 Nov. 2013
This review is from: Toast of London [DVD] (DVD)
I'm in a rush, so I'll have to use single words to describe this excellent series from Matt Berry:

Funny
Sports Vest
Fandango
Purchase
Plough
Forsyth
Submarines

Favourite series of the year, and will fit nicely next to Snuffbox, and Berry's other work on your DVD shelf.

Sorry, I have to shoot off.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ignore these clowns below, this show is great!, 6 Oct. 2012
Life's too short, rather than being a pale imitation, fills a gap post- Extras. Ok, the feel of the show is very familiar, but so what? It's really funny, and when watching a comedy, isn't that what really matters?

Warwick Davis is amazing in this role, playing the hyper-Davis, who is easily swayed by fame and attention, and puts in a genuinely funny performance.

All I have to do is think of the closing scene of the series (it involves the re-purposing of furniture), and I crack up.

All I hope is that they put some decent behind the scenes stuff on the BluRay.

3.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy this version of the DVD., 24 Feb. 2012
This classic Troughton story has been - thankfully - re-released as a two-disc edition in 'Revisitations 2' - Doctor Who Revisitations Box Set - Volume 2 [DVD] .

The picture quality in this is poor, as it was one of the earlier releases, and the features are bare to say the least.

Only really worth it for the serious collector.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect starter set, 24 Feb. 2012
Well worth the price. You get the set in a plastic 'suitcase' style case, which is handy to clear away under the bed.
You can start on these weights, but you can always add additional weights. So it's good as a starter kit, but not really any use for more seasoned lifters.
