As good as a student genuinely revising will ever need. Not a textbook., 27 April 2014
Given the book condenses a somewhat quirky course with some elements perhaps not in the physics mainstream that characterise the course, it does a pretty good job. In places it does not contain enough guidance in terms of depth but then it is a revision not a teaching aid. The problem is that students do use books like this to save their bacon having done little work throughout the course so need a little more. The fault, if any, is not therefore really with the book. It's as good as any student genuinely revising will need.
