If you can get your head round Fred having dark hair, this is a really good film. It's set around the school. They all end up accidently getting detention together and clubbing together to find out who's trying to close the school down and why. It's the kind of film that if you miss a bit, you want to rewind it so you don't miss any. Kept the kids quiet and that's not unusual, that's a miracle in our house! Not as good as the other proper films, but still a good plot and fun to watch

Journey to the centre of the earth meets ace ventura slapstick. Lots of one liners to make you laugh, especially funny with the ape man and main character and the dino and main character. Not much plot line, just the basic trying to get home, but fun to watch.

Was really looking forward to getting this product, but it's a bit repeatitive and boring. You start with a boutique your relative has left you. There is only 2 colours of store floor etc to pick from. You have chocolates, posters, cd's and cakes to sell. A customer wants your attention by leaving a face logo for you to follow. They tell you roughly what they want eg. a cake for someone who likes red, and you have to find a red cake, take it to them and then go to the till where you can press the till to serve them by pressing the till buttons and giving change, and occasionally wrapping their gifts if requested, all done with the stylus. By picking the right gift and coloured paper etc, you make the customer more happy. You have certain things to do to progress eg. sell cd's books and please Lady somebody or other that wants a cake specially made. As I said, bit samey, the people start asking for the same things and the levels take ages as you can bet that if you have to sell books, everyone asks for chocs!

This is an excellent heartwarming family film. Fred is St Nick's older brother who gets ignored as a child and learns to hate his brother and all that he stands for in christmas. As an adult in trouble, money wise, he heads off to stay with his brother and his wife. He causes havoc and lots of laughs while his disparing brother tollerates it all. A man is trying to close the north pole down so there will be no christmas, and Fred finally finds out just how important his family and christmas are to him, and when Nick becomes ill and can't deliver the presents, Fred steps in to save the day.

4.0 out of 5 stars Space Chimps, 1 Feb 2009

This is a really good family film about a circus chimp that gets to go into space with some other dedicated chimps. They come to a planet with lots of weird aliens and a domineering leader that deals with anyone that crosses him. The film deals with making friends, and teaching each other about what is important in life. The funniest bit is where they call the humans at Houston for help and of course, all they hear is monkey noises! There are loads of different characters and it's not scarey at all. I have 3, 4, and 8 year olds, and we all love it.

4.0 out of 5 stars The mummy trilogy, 1 Feb 2009
We bought the Mummy box set as we watch them all frequently. The Mummy is about about an archeologist lady, Evie, and her brother Jonathan who team up with Rick (Brendan Frazer) and unlease a mummy who is set on bringing back his egyptian love who he died for. They team up and bring about the mummy's downfall, with lots of fight sequences, the scorpion king played by the rock, loads of laughs and lots of hearstopping moments. I have 3, 4 and 8 year old boys who love it.
The Mummy 2 concentrates on the same characters when their son is taken by the people who resurect the mummy for the 2nd time. There are flashbacks to the 1st film which is nice, and of course, the usual fights, laughter and come-uppence which is so satisfying!
The Mummy 3 is about the same characters, although Evie is no longer played by Rachel Weisz, which is a shame, and their grown up son. There is an oriental theme to this one and the mummy itself is different, but it is still really good, with some great special effects.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stephen King's Rose Red - VHS/DVD, 3 Dec 2003

A fantastically twisting and turning book, that has you believing you know what's going on, when really, you don't! There are enough characters so you will find your favourite, and least favourite. Rose Red is a house that is haunted by the people who had it built, and every person that has been in there since and mysteriously dissapeared. You learn about it's past, present, and future, and there are enough ghosty-gouls to keep you on the edge of your seat.
