funny enough to crack open the whole topic in a perfectly natural way, 8 Jan 2012
Got this to start the process with my children (girl 7, boy, 5, girl 4, boy 2). Had already given them some ideas as things arose in the day-to-day. When I read the book for them, the oldest turned to me and said - "they're trying to tell us what you told us already!" which I thought was fantastic. The pictures are hilarious. My children really identified with the kids in the book, trying to explain things simply to their daft parents. My older boy cracked up seeing the couples together - said if his wife sat up on him like that he'd kick her off! But it was all within a context and they accepted everything really well.I even overheard them explaining how babies are made to my unsuspecting husband later!

very useful especially for good kids with aggressive or impulsive nature, 8 Jan 2012
Got this to help me keep my four kids aged 1 - 6 busy and happy on rainy days. One of them is particularly difficult to manage. It helped a lot, to distract them and entertain them. And it gave me a break from having to think of things to do myself! They also remembered a few of the games and came back to them later...

makes getting pregnant easy peasy!, 8 Jan 2012
recommended by a friend. I bought this book when I had one child and was randomly hoping to have more - at 36 y.o! I went on to have my second at 36, third at 37 and 4th at 39! It explains all the signs and symptoms of fertility, so that you can pinpoint when you can conceive and/or if there is a problem. Well worth having - and passing on, if you have daughters or friends!

get the spiral bound one if you can afford it - writing is tiny and hard to keep open, 8 Jan 2012
the content is great but I ended up buying the spiral bound one afterwards because this just won't stay open, and the writing is tiny

smells lovely and sounds really like a new baby. perfect for 4 y.o., 8 Jan 2012

This doll looks and smells lovely and makes great new-baby noises. No pee-ing or poo-ing, which suited me perfectly! THe body is soft and the limbs and head are hard. A good size - suited our buggy, pram and cot thank God! I got it for my 7 year old for Christmas as it was exactly what she asked Santa for. But she's probably that bit too old for dolls really. My 4 year old has ended up playing with it more and takes it to bed with her etc. Very few clothes and accessories included. An extra set of clothes would probably make it more interesting - if more expensive.

appears flimsy but lasting well and 2 y.o boy LOVES it!, 8 Jan 2012

Bought this to ship to Ireland cos not available here at the time, so ended up costing 25 euro. Probably dear at that. But my 2 year old really wanted a lawnmower and I didn't fancy a bubble making one. A bit noisy -good for him, bad for me. Seems very lightweight but can take a fair amount of hacking... So far so good!

brand new stories, songs and ideas, 24 Nov 2011
Stories brand new and some with clear educational themes (e.g. learning colours, explaining about the rainbow etc). My kids aged 6,5,4,2 (2 x boys, 2 x girls) all love this dvd. Has different songs from other dvds and they sing can along. Nice change for me to hear! Didn't notice that Peppa's voice had changed - but then we're Irish so maybe it's an English thing!
