This book was free, and considering it was free I'm giving it 5-stars. I think it had enough useful information to merit a 5 star rating. I love discovering off the beaten path destinations and this book certainly delivers for that!

This book is an excellent read for “kids of all ages”. I found it to be a masterful blend of myth, legend, fantasy, and magic. Book 2 in this series presents a complex story, but one that’s not overly so, as to not take away from the pure entertainment value. I loved the characters, plot, dialog, and storyline. I highly recommend this book and plan to check out more in the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for preschoolers!, 24 April 2015
So happy that I downloaded this book for my son. He's working on his alphabet, and this book was great. I love that kids have to look for the letters on the pages AND count them. There are also some cute games at the end. Highly recommend this book for preschoolers learning their ABCs.

Great purchase. I thought this was an excellent guide to Barcelona. Yes, it is a bit 'superficial' - but it's a Top 10 book - so there's only so much detail you can expect. I love the graphics and the photos. Highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent read!, 23 April 2015
This was a great, quick read that really “goes deep”…sorry I couldn’t resist using that pun given the nature of this book (which is actually three stories in one). Despite the brevity of each of the three women’s stories, they managed to thoroughly explore the complexities of love, sexuality, and obsession. The author had great character selection and excellent plot development to really keep the e-pages turning. Excellent read!

I loved reading this book – it was unlike anything I’ve read before, and that’s why I liked it! The characters were great as well as their humorous dialogue back and forth. Add to that a gripping mystery, and you’ve got quite an entertaining read. I highly recommend this book to mystery lovers, animal lovers, and anyone looking for a fun, unique read!

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommend for all sci-fi fans!, 27 Mar. 2015
This review is from: Nano Man (Kindle Edition)
This book was excellent - an awesome blend of sci-fi, paranormal, and fantasy, packed with adventure! It’s a real page-turner and has all the makings of an original, futuristic sci-fi film - movie scouts, take note!

I love Moore’s writing style: his narratives, character development, and plot development are excellent. I also appreciated all the details he included re: bioengineering, robotics, corporate greed, government misdeeds - it makes the book’s futuristic sci-fi world all the more real. (Hopefully we’re not destined for a future like the book’s, but it’s still incredible to imagine…)

The way Moore manages to pull all the book’s elements together is amazing. After reading ‘Nano Man’ you’ll feel like you’ve been on one heck of a roller coaster ride…that you don’t want to get off of (despite the end…I won’t give that away, besides, you’ll want to experience that for yourself, without a spoiler). Like I said, this is one heck of a page turner. It transports you to another world, one full of intrigue, action, and adventure. Highly recommend for all sci-fi fans!

Pit of Vipers (Sons of Kings Book 2)
Pit of Vipers (Sons of Kings Book 2)

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly Recommend!, 20 Mar. 2015
I read this book just after reading the first ‘Shadow of the Raven.’ This work had the same qualities that made the first one a 5-star read: it’s an excellent piece of historical fiction with just the right mix of adventure, drama, and lots of period details (one thing I especially like). You can tell that the author is an expert on the time period (9th century Europe).

As with the first in the trilogy, this version contains maps of the regions referenced in the story along with a cast of characters listing. We have a similar cast of characters as the first work (of course, it is a trilogy): Alfred (real-life Alfred of Wessex), Eadwulf (fictional Eadwulf of Mercia), supported by Eahlswith, Leoflaed, Bjorn, Kata, etc. And like the first work, the author does a fantastic job with developing the ensemble of characters so that the reader feels a true sense of connection to them.

Readers should note that Thom does an excellent job of tying everything together in this work (even though it’s a trilogy). So, you won’t be left with any sort of empty, unsatisfied feeling (like you do when you see a movie with an incomplete ending). Instead, like me, you’ll be waiting for the third one to come out with eager anticipation. Highly recommend!
