2.0 out of 5 stars BAD!, 26 Mar. 2015

The built in screen protector near the area of my note 4 home screen button does not sit perfectly on my note 4 and so there is a small gap that allows dust and tiny particles to get in between the screen protector and my note 4 screen. That is what i do not like about this otterbox and so every few days i have to remove the otterbox, get the debris out and then put it back again.

I bought this case in november 2014 and have been using it for a few months and it was doing its job very well but about a month ago the front cover developed a crack in it and the built-in screen protector has now detached itself.

What a book! This book is not about religion, it is all about the grace of God. I had never heard of Eddie Snipes before reading this book but i was blown away by his amazing ability to explain what God's wonderful grace is all about. If you think hyper grace is a false message, you have to read this book. Every christian and non-christian should read this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars HANS ZIMMER AT HIS BRILLIANT BEST!, 20 July 2012
My most awaited score of 2012 is here and it is trully brilliant!

I own and love both the Batman Begins score and The Dark Knight score but this score takes things to a whole new level. The score is roughly 52 minutes long and features 15 tracks. It is not an all-out action score, but the action music is exceptionally good. The whole score basically flows through meditative aggression, darkened depression and energizing, forceful action. I love the repeated chant and the unspontaneous brass screeching that is maintained at length without interruption reflecting the entrance of The Dark Knight. I love the way Hans Zimmer highlights the sullen low-spirited feeling and oppressive feelings of gloom and inadequacy throughout this score.

`A Storm Is Coming' is the very first track and starts the album off in a befittingly threatening manner but it is only 37 seconds long! It is too short! At least it isn't the shortest track on the album!

`On Thin Ice' is a good emotional theme that ends with the same theme that is extended in `Why Do We Fall?'

`Gotham's Reckoning' is a wonderful action track ruled by powerful thumping, inharmonious strings and a chanting choir. The first half is menacing and features a quiet Bane chant, droning horns and a touch of electric instruments. The music then intensifies and employs severe, crushing strings to build a sound with electric instruments and ascending notes that are both messy and ambitious before finishing with a climaxing Bane chant. I love it when the brass injections kick in, imitating the rush of power-driven tremors.

`Mind If I Cut In' unquestionably sounds unlike the rest of the score. It is the indispensable Cat-woman theme tune that opens with a creepy cello theme and then fades to a very nearly menacing piano solo. The track showcases a classical piano sound with a slinky simple tune.

I love the restrained, string-loaded dark tones of `Underground Army.' This is a naked and fragmented track that lacks the power and oomph but it still sounds like a tune of devastation.

`Born In Darkness' is a beautiful track and contains some deep emotional cues. The music is soft and meditative.

`The Fire Rises' is an awesome action track with a lethal, rough start and muddled action cues jam-packed with heavy, crunching electric strings and loads of string sound effects. It is an explosive action track that blasts ominous themes, then gently sizes with tension to another action cue with the Bane theme and chant together.

`Nothing Out There' is brought into being with a theme that is not lengthy but offers the first real sound indicative of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. The tune swiftly changes to a novel theme comprising ominous sounding strings containing a downcast sound suggestive of `Nycteris' from Batman Begins. The last part of the track closes with the soft piano solo from `Barbastella' of Batman Begins.

It is an underestimation to say that `Despair' is electric instrument heavy. It pays respect to the Batman Begins and The Dark Knight soundtracks by containing some of the key defining Batman signature tunes. I love these action-heavy Batman themes! An Awesome Track.

The first time the Bane theme has been in direct contact and is arranged behind other action cues occurs in `Fear Will Find You'. This track features the entrance of the Batman theme and additional definitive Zimmer Batman cues. I love the way the Batman theme plays as one melody with the chant-less Bane theme.

`Why Do We Fall?' is purely outstanding. A soft beginning slowly builds unremittingly in volume and strength. I love the magnificent build-up of strings and drums that progress into one of the standard redemption pieces slowly driving the pulsing theme forward to its familiar epic Batman theme close.

The award for the shortest track of this whole soundtrack album goes to `Death By Exile.' This is a 23 second discordant torrent of sound which, I think, needs filmic supplement in order to be fathomed.

`Imagine The Fire' is the lengthiest track on the score (7:25) and Hans Zimmer is truthfully at his best here. This track has an epic and heroic style that just keeps on asserting Zimmer's engaging chaos. This track starts off with full power action music with all of Hans Zimmer's hallmark flair driving it forward. `The Kraken'-like sounds from his Pirates of the Caribbean films surfaces, followed by a mix of a altered choral Batman theme progression, the Bane chant and the fresh line of horns blaring. The theme develops to the heroic line with the Bane intonation undercurrent. I can only describe this track as the finest action track on this album and unquestionably, one of the greatest pieces of action music I have ever listened to!

`Necessary Evil' begins with the classic Batman music that plays during an action scene but then fades to something that sounds like the Limbo music featured in Inception.

A moving soprano tune, followed a cello-heavy slow tune builds with a sombre Batman theme in `Rise'. The music grows gradually louder as the emotive level rises. The music continues to build and build and then rounds out the track with the full Batman hero theme. It's truly a beautiful track!

My favourite tracks are:

1. Imagine The Fire
2. Why Do We Fall?
3. Rise
4. Gotham's Reckoning
5. Underground Army
6. Fear Will Find You
7. The Fire Rises
8. Despair
9. Nothing Out There

The Dark Knight Rises Soundtrack feels fresh even though it is based on the previous Batman scores. It rises to a new music level for me and is nothing short of brilliant. Hans Zimmer has added some outstanding explosive stuff that keeps you coming back for more. A Must Buy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome score by James Horner, 2 July 2012
Ever since I heard that James Horner was scoring The Amazing Spider-Man, I have been looking forward to this score. He is a legend in the film score business with well over a hundred scores to his name. He is of the old school, so I knew we were in for something traditional but exceptional. Most of the score is orchestral, but there are electronics scattered about.

The main title "Main Title - Young Peter" is a great main theme. Horner mixes live orchestra with synthetic electronic flourishes and undercurrents. He clearly went for brass-led orchestrations, which are appropriate for super-hero movies. It sounds like it's a combination of Danny Elfman's Spiderman 1 and 2 main themes, Christopher Young's Spiderman 3 main theme and of course fresh Horner music. I love the vocals in this track! You cannot fail to recognize the old Horner style of overlaid piano. Brilliant!

In "Becoming Spider-Man", the theme and main title instrumentation is increased in scope with a choir and string music. I love the electronics that are brought in towards the end of this track.

Do not be tempted to skip the first couple of tracks. The album may seem to be a bit of a slow starter but this isn't the case.

"Playing Basketball" sounds comic. "Hunting for Information" has a lot of rich texture and is anything but boring. "The Briefcase" has some ponderous and very mysterious piano sounds. The comic feel of "Playing Basketball" grows stronger in the dance rhythms of "The Spider Room - Rumble in the Subway" and sounds like music from the Seventies. The ascending 6-note motif in "Secrets", ties things together and I love the echo sounds that come next before it dulls down a bit.

I love the wonderfully soft and mild strumming of the guitar in "The Equation". The whole track feels so simple, healthful, and close to nature. This track is quite tranquil and the piano solo is really lovely.

Listening to "The Ganali Device" is the closest you will get to the "A Beautiful Mind" score. You hear the unmistakable Horner instrumentation in a brilliant way. A lovely track.

The core of the whole amazing Spider man score starts with this track, "Ben's Death" and continues until the end. This track features very dramatic and beautiful cues and some loud manly intonation in the later stages! This is great stuff from Horner.

I love the swirling strings of "Metamorphosis". The string-led themes lead in to a somewhat Panic mode with pursing strings and brass cries. Outstanding stuff!

The theme in "Rooftop Kiss" is truly moving and emotional, particularly in its solo piano form. I love this piano solo.

"The Bridge" has a good beginning followed by what sounds like disagreeable sounds blending together along with some vocal effects that arouse attention. I love the use of horns in this track and the use of the guitar as underscore.

The tracks "Lizard at School", "Saving New York" and "Oscorp Tower" make up the explosive finale.

Lizard at School' is a fast-paced menacing action track with some stimulating and great intensity percussion sequences.

Horner handled the dynamically fluid action route of undisturbed continuity through "Lizard at School", "Saving New York" and "Oscorp Tower" in an impressive manner.

"I Can't See You Any More" is an impressive composition in its own right with a beautiful string opening. This track slows things down a bit, which is welcome, after the 14 minute action music trio of "Lizard at School", "Saving New York" and "Oscorp Tower" before it. "I Can't See You Any More" is a very strong emotional, tear jerking track.

"Promises - Spider-Man End Titles" follows on the same note as "I Can't See You Anymore" but ends with some really good pulsating action music.

The original qualities of this score are unimpaired by some tracks sounding a bit similar to other James Horner scores (Particularly "The Ganali Device" and The A beautiful mind score ) and it is perfectly suited for The Amazing Spiderman. A Must Buy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Well done Marc Streitenfeld, 5 Jun. 2012
This review is from: Prometheus (Audio CD)
The score was recorded with a 90-piece orchestra and trust me, it is really good. When you listen to this score, you realize that it has a grand feel to it. The tracks, 4. Life and 12. We Were Right, are provided by Harry Gregson-Williams and both have a lovely theme that lifts you up to some other place! Marc Streitenfeld has produced another masterpiece this year. (I love his other score for `The Grey'). After listening to the whole score the very first time, I immediately fell in love with 1. A Planet, 2. Going In, 5. Weyland, 8. Too Close, 10. David, 14. Infected, 16. Small Beginnings, 17. Hello Mommy, 20. Space Jockey and 21. Collision! Many of the tracks have a calming theme but the following are epic action tracks: 11. Hammerpede, 14. Infected, 17. Hello Mommy, 20. Space Jockey and 21. Collision and 23. Planting The Seed. These have got some really great throbbing action scoring by Marc Streitenfeld. A must have album, I have listened to it a lot, I love it but i even loved some of the tracks much more after I watched the movie, which by the way is brilliant!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Game Soundtrack, 29 May 2012
I had never heard of Health before but I was really impressed by this game score. Health provides the music that is fitting for the countless action scenes in Max Payne 3. Their music relates to grim circumstances but is very energetic. Playing Max Payne 3 is an amazing experience and part of what makes this experience memorable and lasting is the music of Health!! This is a must buy!!
