5.0 out of 5 stars Really rather super, 23 Dec 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Well, normally things come out of the box, you carefully unwarp all the wires and bits and bobs, move all the furniture to get at the bits of kit you need to plug into and, hey presto - nothing. Imagine my glee (yes, I'll go that far, glee) when right off the bat these little beauties just plugged in, switched on and went to work. No cd set up, no push button to connect, they simply hooked themselves up and gave a great signal in every room in the house (sad as I am, I gleefully tried them in every room of what is a fairly big place. So, I am now popular with daughters who have an intermittent wireless signal at best.

Highly recommended......

5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning debut album, 19 April 2011
This review is from: Collecting Skies (Audio CD)
"A debut album of poise, strength and the most vociferous magnificence. The Big I Am sound absolutely confident and joyful in their creativity. Collecting Skies could be the soundtrack to snows melting and spring emerging. Songs open like a new dawn breaking and hang like blossoms from fragile branches of beauty; then they grow and grow until they are bursting at the seams with catharsis. If you listen to this album, be prepared to have your heartstrings plucked and stroked until you ache with joy and any cynicism you harbor is utterly defeated. Be prepared to be lifted." ***** (5 stars) "

3.0 out of 5 stars Gone is the sad man, 19 May 2009
Great, forgotten band but tbis album lacks some of their best stuff, in particular the magnificent 'Gone is the Sad Man' - still wroth a listen though
