Time Tutelary Automatic Watch Winder - Black
Time Tutelary Automatic Watch Winder - Black

5.0 out of 5 stars Does what it says - keeps your automatic watch wound up, 19 Feb 2012
This product does exactly what it says - it keeps your automatic watch wound up when you are not wearing it. It's very quiet running and easy to set up and most importantly does exactly the same job as watch winders sometimes costing an eye watering hundreds of pounds. Maybe 'cos they are in a posh hardwood, velvet lined, glass fronted box. If that's for you and you have the money then fine. Tip: Check which way your watch winds (clockwise, anti clockwise or both) and set the watch winder accordingly.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great little gadget!, 8 Jun 2011
Actually bought this sat nav + Garmin City Navigator North America NT 2011 Map Update Micro/SD Card for a probably (but, hopefully not!) one off trip to Florida with the family in April 2011. The idea was to get a reasonably priced sat nav for home/european use and to adapt it for use in the US. The cost of hiring a sat nav with your hire car/van in the US is almost the same cost and you have nothing to show for it when your finished. So, we thought it was a good idea.
I have to say that it was/is a dream to use in both the UK and the US. Another reviewer mentioned the way road numbers are, as it were, spoken in full eg. A123 would be given as "A one hundred and twenty three" but, you soon get used to it. Apart from that and bearing in mind that it is priced towards the 'lower end' of the sat nav market it does exactly what was expected in that it gets you from A to B - no problem. If you miss a turn then it quickly "re-calculates" you back on track. OK, the display is not the all singing and dancing with trees and road signs like some 'top end' sat navs but hey, what are you supposed to be doing here, driving a vehicle or watching the tele? Oh, and try downloading exact location co-ordinates from the Satellite Signals website to get spot on locations.

5.0 out of 5 stars An absolute godsend!, 6 May 2011
Got this for our recent family trip to Florida. Used it with my Garmin Nuvi 2240. Switched it on when we got into our hire car and it got us out of Orlando airport and to our villa like a dream. The grandaughters argued about whether the man or woman gave the better directions - the lady won! Although most of the places we had planned to visit(Disney parks, St Pete's Beach etc) are already preloaded, as a backup, we also downloaded exact co-ordinates from the Satellite Signals website for our villa, hotel etc. If we missed a turning then it would very quickly "re-calculate" and get us back on track. So, if you are new or unsure about finding your way around Florida or, anywhere else in the US, Canada, Mexico etc. then this is a must and it's cheaper than renting a sat nav from the car rental people. Oh, and it got us back precisely to the car drop off point at Orlando airport.

5.0 out of 5 stars HDMI Nirvana!, 21 April 2010
The SKY engineer that came to install our SKY+HD Box suggested that we had probably wasted our money in purchasing this product and that the HDMI cable supplied with the Sky+HD box would be fine. How wrong he was. This is an excellent product and and has given us a new level of picture quality. Highly recomment it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Toast!, 9 Mar 2010
When our long serving M&S toaster went 'belly-up' on us recently it was a great loss. So, we set about buying a replacement. Bought and returned a couple of the cheaper regular makes. They didn't tick all the boxes. One, you could almost toast bread from the outside of the toaster and both would not accept a normal size slice of bread (eg Kingsmill 50/50) without chopping a bit off. The Krups toaster had no such problems and it does very nice toast as well! OK, it's a bit pricy (for a toaster) but, in this case, you get what you pay for. It's well built and the quality is excellent. No problem in recommending this product.
