5.0 out of 5 stars SweetSweetSounds, 3 Mar 2012
Fantastic debut album from an exceptionally talented band! I have had this cd in my car for the last week driving to and from work and liked it on first listen, but having played it again and again since I absolutely love it!!
No filler here every track is there on merit. All this band needs is some tv/radio exposure to make it BIG!
first an appearance on Jools Late Live then The Brits then The Grammys!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Woody Allen = Wooden Acting!, 22 Oct 2006
This review is from: Match Point [DVD] [2006] (DVD)
As a massive fan of Woody Allen I was looking forward to seeing a change of location from the great man - London for New York - the story which is quite a clever idea is the only good thing to report about this film - the acting is total third rate dross - not helped by the badly written dialogue - Woody should stick to what he does best and his favourite location .....

5.0 out of 5 stars Working Backwards!!, 3 Sep 2006
This review is from: Lowedges (Audio CD)
After buying Coles Corner,(a fantastic album by the way)I thought I'd give this one a bash and wasn't disappointed. Lowedges is a more intimate record without the strings, but still full of beautifully crafted songs.Even though Mr Hawley is Country,Rock n Roll influenced,I still think he's got his own sound, like Brian Setzer has his own Rockabilly sound. Buy and Judge for yourself.

5.0 out of 5 stars Now Then!, 13 Aug 2006
This review is from: Coles Corner (Audio CD)
I bought this CD after hearing the title song in the background of an interview with Richard and Steve Davis on the BBC World Snooker Championship last year,it is a hauntingly beautiful collection of songs that make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.Its Roy Orbison,Burt Bacharach with a slice of Santo & Johnny thrown in. Buy it you won't be dissapointed.A+
