3.0 out of 5 stars Wrong image for 17L, 27 Nov. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The image for the 17L bag shows the 35L product.

It suggests that it's a messenger bag style when, in fact, it's box-like, similar to a camcorder case.

I returned mine.

2.0 out of 5 stars Super-fly Eye-Fi? Sadly not., 19 Nov. 2009
I love the idea of getting images off camera and online quickly and easily, but I sent my Eye-Fi back after a week of testing. Here's why: 1) To gain access to a new wireless network, you have to plug the Eye-Fi into a computer and run software each time - that's no good if you're out and about at, say, a friend's house. 2) There are very few 'open' networks in the UK, so it's not like your images are going to be uploaded while you wait at a train station or go for a coffee. 3) There are compatibility issues (static on videos) with nine camera models, inc my Panasonic LX3 - see FAQ on official site.

The Moment it Clicks: Photography Secrets from One of the World's Top Shooters

3.0 out of 5 stars Close but no cigar, 18 May 2009
This is a half-decent book, but nowhere near as good (or groundbreaking) as the publishers would have you think.

'The first book with one foot on the coffee table, and one foot in the classroom'? Well, no, not really. The image repro isn't up to much, for starters. And it's not like there's genuine instructional content - there's a lot of talk about lighting, for example, but no diagrams. And Joe McNally barely mentions composition.

Also, keep in mind that the book focuses on assignment photography (honestly, it's like the lifestyles of the rich and famous). The anecdotal stuff is interesting (at times), but really won't help you take better pictures of weddings, your family, landscapes etc.

I guess it's one for pros and wannabe pros only? This keen amateur found 'Hot Shots: How to Refresh Your Photos' a million times more inspiring.

2.0 out of 5 stars Is it just me or..., 28 Nov. 2006
... is this book nowhere near as good as the original? The first had me laughing out loud. This time I laughed three or four times, at most. Sorry guys, but it reads like it was bashed out in a couple of weeks.
