Starry -- The Powerpuff Girls -- Cartoon Network Youth T-Shirt, Youth X-Large

2.0 out of 5 stars It doesn't look like this!, 2 Aug. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
For a start, it's lighter but the most annoying thing is that it seems that the colour has run, meaning that the print is actually blue and not the vibrant colours we see in the picture. Yeah, it's less than a fiver but even so you expect a certain level of quality in purchasing from Amazon, and this falls below the basic level. I only gave it two stars because, as I said, it's less than a fiver!

1.0 out of 5 stars AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!, 6 Jun. 2009
One of the worst comics I have ever read in my 35 years of reading comics, Jeph Loeb has taken the supreme genius of The Ultimates and reduced it to a puerile, mish mash of super cliche after super cliche- this guy not only 'killed the Scarlet Witch', he's killed the entire franchise stone dead!!

Shame on this idiot!!! Awful beyond words!

5.0 out of 5 stars A masterpiece!, 3 Sept. 2008
I read Babes In Arms back in the early 90s when it first appeared in 2000AD and I picked up a copy of the graphic novel and I must say, it's one of the freshest and most original Dredd stories I've ever read. I've been reading Dredd and 2000AD since '77 and this story has it all- babes, guns, ultra-violence and Dredd in the middle of it all. They say Hell hath no fury than a woman scorned, so times that by four and you kind of get the drift of this story.

When four women are spurned by their former lovers and decide to exact a bloody revenge on the streets of the Big Meg, they run straight into Justice Dept who follow the trail of bodies that lead them to the former 'Valley Girls' (or their East Coast, Mega City One equivalents) now turned super assassins, and in some scenes they appear to be a match for the Judges themselves.

All of this goes to show that John Wagner is one of the British greatest writers of our time and is criminally under-rated. To consistently paint a world as complex as Dredd's on a weekly basis shows just how supreme a writer this guy is, and if he ever went to the States to work for DC or Marvel, I don't think the likes of Millar and Ellis- as great as they are-would have had it all their own way over there.
