3.0 out of 5 stars So-so., 24 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
They look alright, but there's some weird voodoo going on with the sole, which is too narrow at the back, causing your foot to slide off the side and put strain on your ankle. Watch out when stepping off pavements with these, and lace them up tight.

Robust, spacious, and looks beautiful. Also considerably bigger than I'd thought. Nice surprise with the unmentioned lining bag included too.

3.0 out of 5 stars Does what it says on the tin, BUT..., 12 Aug 2011
The all-round performance of these is perfectly adequate, good sound, effective noise cancelling, HOWEVER (and be warned as this is NOT mentioned anywhere)they absolutely SUCK if you are anywhere near an active cellphone. The interference is constant and infuriating, whether you are receiving an incoming call, text, or not. The very fact your cellphone is maintaining a signal of reception as you traverse an environment plays havoc with the speakers, even if you have the noise reduction switched off. They seem to be really sensitive to this, leading me to conduct many journeys with my cellphone switched off out of infuriation, which kinda defeats the object of a cellphone ya know?
So in summary, enjoy, but be prepared to sacrifice one of the two or attempt to enjoy your music with a loud "DU-DU-DU-DU-DU-DUUUUUUUUUUUU" at regular intervals.

3.0 out of 5 stars Comfy, Stylish, but Lethal, 17 July 2011
I bought a pair of these and for the best part have enjoyed them. They look and feel absolutely fantastic, especially poking out from beneath a pair of bootcut jeans, and the heels give off a cool cowboy-boot-style "click clack" when walking on concrete or wood floors.
HOWEVER - Be warned, the soles have virtually no grip whatsoever when new, and will take a while to break in. I had one bad slip and several frightening near misses while on staircases and stepping off pavements, so exercise caution if you live in a city.
I also found that Punch (tm) Cleaner Restorer spray was the best product for keeping the leather looking new, as they did seem to scuff very easily.

1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM, 30 May 2011
I bought one of these before and liked it so much I decided to buy another as a spare. The last one I bought was shipped from ebuyer who appeared to no longer stock them, so after a search I settled for buying one through amazon from dvb warehouse.
Not only did the product take an inordinate amount of time to arrive, namely 6 odd weeks from point or order, but it was NOT a xenta upscaler as specified in the order. Infact it seemed to have no discernible brand name on it at all, weighed next to nothing, and came with a manual that read in what can only be described as laughably mistranslated english ("Do not approach the fever object" being one of the more memorable instructions within.)

On connecting it using the accompanying adaptor, there was no recognition whatsoever of any of the hard drives I plugged into it, and I also received an ELECTRIC SHOCK when handling the unit. And no, I wasn't using it in the bath.

This is possibly the worst online shopping experience I have ever had, and it disappoints me greatly as amazon have never let me down before. I guess the best advice I can offer is do not have anything whatsoever to do with 'DVB Warehouse'.
