3.0 out of 5 stars Romcom ripoff, 10 Oct. 2015

This review is from: What If (Blu-ray)
This is a quire enjoyable movie but it is a clear ripoff of 'When Harry Met Sally'. There's the, can a man be friends with a woman and not want more? The posting a letter and checking the mail box as Meg Ryan did. A phone conversation in bed as 'friends'. Daniel racing for an important date, getting caught in a traffic jam and getting out to run and just making it. It is OK but it is still a lazy and inferior copy.

1.0 out of 5 stars Crude stereotypes!, 24 July 2015

This is a terrible movie. Why Kevin Kline agreed to play in this is amazing. The script is juvenile, the direction very poor. It is one of the worst movies I've seen in years. If you want to see a whole load of clichés crudely bundles together watch this. We gave 15 minutes and gave up in disgust.

5.0 out of 5 stars Potter's best to date, 28 Jan. 2013
This review is from: The Sirens (Audio CD)
This is a remarkable album. Potter plays with great passion and intelligence, supported by musicians at the top of their game. The title track is quite stunning. I love the variation of themes throughout. This is a disc to play again and again with delight. I've seen Potter in concert several times and this is representative of his very best work.
