They're back, 13 Mar 2001
Oh, boy. This is the album I've been waiting for since 1996. Homework was always going to be a hard act to follow, but it seems that Guy Man and Thomas have pulled it off. The pure disco-ness was a surprise, but a very, very pleasant one. If someone had told me that DP would release a disco oriented, heavy metal guitar driven, solid beat rockin' LP with snatches of Barry Manilow I would never have beleived them. But then again, what else would you expect from this pair? Always expect the unexpected, especially when Daft Punk are involved. It looks like DP are about to change the face of clubland (for the better) once more. Down with trance! When Homework came out in 1996, it changed clubland and put the fun back in(rock-on Slam and the Arches in Glasgow!) Now they look set to do it again with a whole new feel.
Daft Punk are back and are demanding the return of their throne!!!
