Excellent value for money and my husband loves it. A great improvement on the case bought from Apple and at much lower cost.

5.0 out of 5 stars Even when you put this book down, it's on your mind, 10 Jun 2014

Fascinating to speculate how much could one attribute the behaviours of the characters to their time and social environment and how much to their own strengths and weaknesses. Similar tragic events occur now, and, for all the enormous changes in social expectations, just how different really are the reasons?

2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't recognise tethered iPhone 5 and no customer support, 5 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The Sapido site says that all iPhones are supported but this absolutely did not tether to the iPhone 5 via the USB cable as described. The latest firmware update did not help. The Sapido customer support have not responded to requests for assistance submitted online and via email and their online support never IS online. I eventually gave up and configured it as an AP extending the wireless signal from the phone instead of via the USB cable, but other products such as the TP-link range extenders do that for £20 less and it drains the phone battery really fast using it in wifi mode.

The only reason I am keeping it is because it does produce a strong signal, which I need due to solid internal walls and the phone having to be in one upstairs room for good reception.

1.0 out of 5 stars Boring, 16 May 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I had my doubts after the first chapter but struggled on to the 20 percent mark in the hope it would improve. Then I gave up.

The dialogue drags and is written in accordance with the basic instructions given in school writing classes. This may work for short sections interspersed with prose, but is maddening after pages of the stuff in which what the characters are saying is so tediously uninteresting. A few illustrative remarks would have been enough, with the rest summarized in a sentence or two, instead of page after page of trite comments. The prose doesn't move much faster and it is impossible to get interested in the characters themselves as they are all immature or stereotypical caricatures or unpleasant, or in most cases a combination of two or more of these.

There may be a good idea in there somewhere but the book is badly in need of an editor and extensive rewriting.
