What a fantastic sounding track, superb harmonies and guitar work. Bob is in fine fettle and everything just sounds refreshed and clear. Lots of power and emotional singing. I hope this gets lots of downloads. Oh yes B side Born to Be King very nice re- record also.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pure Class, 24 Mar. 2014

This album takes me back to the style of Magnum during the early to mid 80s. But it is brought up to date with some great melodies, modern lyrics, really emotional singing by Bob. Superb guitar playing by Tony Clarkin too. Too many Clowns has a mega riff !

Keyboards are excellent, like some of the older style Albums. Great lyrics, very well thought out.

Plus you can see a great album cover, of which the front of the cd is only half of the full drawing seen on the booklet inside. Rodney Mathews at his best again.

I have given this a 5 star because it tops all my expectations and needs only 1 listen to get hooked, again a bit like some of the older Magnum tunes.

Vintage Magnum styles , instantly catchy with a modern sound and plenty of pace when required

If they haven't quite floated your boat since they reformed, lyrics like "So let your magic lantern Burn" will get you hooked once again, this is the one you have been waiting for.

5.0 out of 5 stars They are still a cut above the rest !!, 24 Sept. 2012
To top the Visitation album so soon after its release was going to be a tough order for this band that hasn`t stood still for the past 10 years
From the moment you spin this disc you will hear the clarity of Bob Catley's voice like never before. Magnum have always made very lyrical songs and on this album the songs are so crystal clear you get to hear all of the band doing their bit. The title track "On the 13th Day is a cracker which grows on each play, but is very catchy from the first listen too. So Let It Rain was the first single and quite rightly too, with a real catchy chorus and anuplifting vibe throughout. All the Dreamers - its about the Magnum fans (bit like Sacred Hour in its meanings) is very catchy and the words in this song are great, with plenty of meanings . Infact this whole album has brilliant lyrics and a catchy chorus on each track. Great production from Mr Clarkin too. If you are a fan of Magnum or have been a fan in the past you will like this album and it will remind you how goog they were and still are. Go get it !! p.s. I have been a fan for 25 years so know and love all the old stuff too

This track has everything we have come to expect from Tony Clarkin's song writing and a Magnum tune. Great Lyrics, catchy tune and great hook lines etc. and a superb singing by Mr Catley himself. Uplifting and bright , a brilliant effort to promote the new Album On The 13th Day which is out on the 24th September 2012 . Get it downloaded and enjoy ! The build up to this album has been as big as any Magnum release for me.

Magnum have delivered - with bells on !

Bobs voice is something else and the production is far better than anything the band have had for some time. I'm not saying I haven`t enjoyed previous albums because I have and still do - But here we have a full package - Brilliant songwriting and lyrics, again, the vocals are superb. Superb guitar work , all put together with nice glossy production.

I`m not going to go into detail on each of the 10 tracks , but this is a Magnum Album that all fans will love, and a great one to get to know the band for the first time - and I can`t wait to see it played live -

If you haven`t listened to Magnum for a while, go get it this week and lets try and get this band back where they belong - in the Top 40 again because this one definately deserves it !!

Thank you Magnum for a great record see you on tour and goog luck

UPDATE - 18th JAN , it has been rumoured that Jan 17 & 18 sales are strong so please if you are going to buy it, buy it this week, there are many many fans including myself that would love to see Magnum in the Top 40 again and add more people to their army of fans. Bigger record sales gets bigger concert venues and so on....

MAGNUM`s MUSIC IN THE TOP 40 - download or CD/DVD it just a few clicks away !!

5.0 out of 5 stars 20 Years on and still Flying High, 2 Feb. 2008
Went to 3 of these live recordings and they are just fantastic, the new tracks are brilliant live and the Wings of heaven performance in the second half of the concert was just amazing. Bob`s voice is as good as it was at the Manchester Apollo 20 years ago and Tony`s guitar work was superb as usuall. Get this CD in its first week of release and lets get them back in the charts where they belong.
