4.0 out of 5 stars Guardian and Observe on Kindle - easier to read than the newspaper !!!, 17 Feb 2014
There is no colour, there are no TV and Radio listings and some graphics can't be displayed.. However it is easier to use than either the newspaper itself or the Digital Edition - and easier to read.
The price of 120 per year should be lowered to 100 for the full 5 stars.

Great photos, must get a macro lens when funds improve.
For 5 stars more landscape photos could have been included tho'.

5.0 out of 5 stars one of the best Weather Report LPs, 15 Dec 2013

This is my favourite Weather Report album, very intense music making here. These live pieces are a bridge between the Miles Davis days and the more well known Weather Report sound with its mixture of acoustic and electronic sounds.

4.0 out of 5 stars most of the best Weather Report here, 15 Dec 2013

A collection of varied albums from their earlier career, really worth the money.= there is little information in addition to the original sleeve, but going on-line is no problem.

There is not much here that is up to the standard of their original LPs in terms of rhythmic and melodic originality, but certainly pleasing to listen to and worth it for this cheap price.

This is a compilation of horticultural photos that has made me seriously think of investing in a, no doubt expensive, macro lens.
A lot of hard work went into this, thanks.
Great second hand price too, thanks as well,

5.0 out of 5 stars a wonderful London show full of passion!, 18 April 2010
This review is from: Ginger Bakers Airforce (Audio CD)
This is a truly great show with Traffic members Chris Wood and Stevie Winwood together wih Graham Bond, Rick Grech on bass and fiddle and Phil Seamen on drums.
The spontaneous, live nature of this album is a good reason to listen to it.
The recording quality is not quite up to today's standards, but if, as is elsewhere suggested, the original tapes are lost, the slight distortion of the treble notes at the beginning does indeed suggest that this is recorded from vinyl - 5 minutes into the show however the sound improves.
As with eveything Ginger Baker has created, there is drive, pace and passion with great dramatic moments - a must for anyone interested in jazz rock improvisation!
Great accompaniments to this album would be Ginger Baker's autobiography "Hellraiser" and the DVD "Ginger in Afrika".
