5.0 out of 5 stars Dark Oak Wood Effect Venetian Blind, 3 Feb. 2013

I gave this 5 stars as this is second time I have used this seller and on both occasions product arrived within 2 days. Great value and I'm happy the way both purchases look. Can't fault service so far and should I need another blind I would buy from this seller again. Yes its cheap but it does the job, if you want a blind that looks expensive then buy an expensive one!!

4.0 out of 5 stars I Read all 3 Books, 25 Aug. 2012

I read all three books in the series and yes all my colleagues at work, my friends and even my Mum have read them. They were THE subject in my hairdressers and even amongst my husbands colleagues at work (they were fed up with wives with no conversation other than 50 Shades!!!)

I loved the books and like everyone else could not put them down. Not normally my kind of books, but yes caught up in the phenomenon that was and still is 50 shades. Glad I read them, thought they were different, sad, witty, romantic and downright "Oh My God" at times. I am very open minded so the whole "sex and contract" thing didn't bother me. I most certainly hope that E L James writes the series from Christian's side.

Got a bit fed up with the press calling it mummy porn, but this only helped to ensure it became a much more sizzling story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Once Again, 25 Aug. 2012

Once again (as with previous books) Max let me know when this was up on Amazon. I can honestly say I couldn't wait for this to come out and enjoyed this as much as the other books in this series. I love the way Max has written this series of books, for me, he describes the people, areas and whats going on in such detail that I can imagine what the people look like, their feelings and how they are affected by the actions of others. I feel that I have almost watched "Scarab" grow from a young girl to a woman who faces sadness, hardship and joy along the way. The description of the areas that Scarab and her friends encounter is so good I could almost see the places for myself. I know the next book will be the last in this series, and once again can't wait, but Max if you read this, please please write another series along these lines.

Thank you once again for a great book that I didn't want to put down!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Scarab-Ay - Billiant!!!, 21 May 2012

This is the fourth book in the series The Amarnan Kings by Max Overton. I eagerly awaited this book, as I absolutely loved the first three. For me, I was not disappointed at all and it was all I hoped it would be. I really really love this type of Ancient Egyptian novels and I will be very sorry indeed when this whole series comes to an end.

I would also like to say a very huge thank you to Max Overton himself, as being the impatient person that I am and wanting this book now, now, now, I couldn't contain myself and emailed Max on his author website email address and Max very kindly kept me informed of when this book would be available and even emailed me to say when it was up on Amazon for sale. So WOW impressed by this thoughtful personal service!!!

The book itself follows on almost seamlessly from the last, Ay is a devious, scheming old man, but his adopted son Nakhkmin becomes even more so. I was shocked by Paramessu and the way he keeps his son from Scarab. I am even getting really cross with old Bashir, keep pushing Dani.

I'll have to wait a bit now for the next book, but can guarantee as soon as it's on Amazon I will be among the first to buy it.
